Got the carb almost done, bascialy all of the stock pices with some gaskets, and welds And I started working on the frame, this is the only peace completed yet, filled the gaps and added welds, its not going to stay the silver color that what the plastic is molded as, and then I painted the welds to see how it looked. Thanks for looking, and what do you guys/gals think? -

little bike, little progress. Here is the engine all 49cc's of it, mostly box stock, still has a lot of parts to go, but here's what 2 hours of work left me with. The carbon fiber on that ?(circle thing) needs to be re done but i haven't goten to it yet. even at 50cc's its still huge next to a 1/24 scale 426! thanks for looking and i promess next time it will not be just box stock stuff. -

Die Cast Opinions
Hippie replied to FASTBACK340's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I know this has kinda turned away from the first post but i just found this, i think die cast are fantatic, they offer so much more then models, hopefuly you remeber my drag bike, that started life as a die cast, it wasn't that it was too hard to scrach build, i could of done the chassie, scrachbuild a engine and so on but the die cast gave me the raw meateral to work on. then you treat it like you do to a kit your trieing to detail, just modify and still scarach build but not as much. in all reality the help lazy modelers (me) finsh stuff faster. -
thanks man, and i have been meaning to tell you sorry for stealing your dirama idea, i sall yours and was amazed, then tried to build something simmilar, its not done yet, most notable i need to paint the cinder blocks in the back.

today i started cleaning alll the old builds, this is the revel kit, probly built it around 5 months ago. this car kinda has a little backstory, if you care here it goes: (if not just sroll down) As most people know in the 60's dodge and hurst teamed up to build 50 pro stock dragcars, but they actualy built 51 the shop forman, for the shop that was usilized for the work wanted his own,he snuck a extra trouht the shop and ended up wiht a crazy machine, He had the normal build done to it, new suspension, a diff, new body panels, ect. but they didnt' strip the interor, he left the stock trim. the only other diffrence from the normal pro stocks was the cheater slicks in the back and the base bages were left on. with he creation almost complet he had it send down to florda. the windows and trim were still in the trunk when it arived, there he planed to change the pro stock front window with stock glass and finsh the car, but unfortanly he never got the chance, in fact he never even got engough time to change the tires to slicks, he was killed in a bizare trafic acedenc caused by a circus truck before he even got out of michigan. now to reality i tried building this thing didn't turn out perfect but it was built over 2 weekends. And a shout out for the zombie build. thanks for looking and what do ya guys think.

I'm back! sorry for the absence i've been working on some consigned builds, gota pay for all this brass some how. Anyways everyones looks apsulutly amazing allreay at 50 pages holy ######, this has only ben going on for 16 days!! While leting paint dry on the other builds i got some of the suspension done, the basic sturcture is there still need to add the shocks and there arms to the spindles but i ran out of bolts (agian) later all of the bolts will be filled treaded rod just can aford it yet, And i did a ton of work on the electronics, the wires a little big but i wanted you to relize that this is high voltage, the rest of the wireing on the car will be small in scale stuff. the side, and there's more on the bottom. thanks for looking and i apreciate your opions. -

every bodys build looks great man!! I got a bit done, a little more paint and little details manly the suspension, ive got a lot of the pieces cut but i ran out of bolts, gona probly get some more tonight, any ways here were I am at right now. and a little tip, if your building a working suspesion build, you probly can do it off the car, so use wight glue to hold everthing todether, once the shocks are instaled and everthing is good rub the joints in water so it all moves, thats why the suspesion is staying up right now wiht only 2 links. thanks for looking and what do ya guys think -

everthings looking great man. Wayne, nice to see you join, also this may be the wrong place to post this but how did you do the old paint? anyways i got here painted. i went with a army paint scheme orgainl i wasn't if you can tell by my name I'm normly quite aposed to this idea, but there's a millitary contest coming up in town that i want to go to, Firist it was painted dark tan, then i did the salt thing wiht light tan, i repeted a buch of times with slelighly lighter paints each time. after the tan looked fine, i added more salt. then i did a mix of turquose to add the camo, kinda did a stripe thing. this was all fallowed with some detaling paint with wich i added rust and dirt, also i added a gun, i was conplateing this sinece the begin, i just don't think the future has to be a cruel dangureus palce, with all you practicaly building tanks i wasn't sure So i compermised and added a small hidden gun. latter it will have a few wire ruing away from it into a triger on the dash. the lightings not great but its in the I beam thanks for looking, and keap up the good work -
here are a few more shots including the interor (it's 1/24 scale) thanks for looking and what do ya think?

Heres is a Ferrari Fxx model, if you don't know what a fxx its basicaly a ferrari enzo in race mode, they made 30 some, amoge the 30 there is a even more specilized race version called the evoluzione, But i still felt that the evoluzione wasn't good engough so I made my owne verson the blue carbon, allot of panels are left in plolished carban fiber and alot of the metal parts are anodized blue other motifications incldue lowering, rebuild of interor, data recording computers, a tuned engine, nitrous, and a pancaked front hood, to be honest im not that proude of this build it has many flaws, and i weathed (should of left it a show car) but i figure you can learn from my mistakes it still needs a few lines in the engine bay, but i'm tired of this build.

the cherry picker looks like its gona 'pick' off some zomibies (Sorry bad pun the swamp runner looks great too. thanks eveyone vegadeth the shocks are from RB motion, look here http://www.rbmotion.com/shocks.html they are amazing, and actualy work, on the web site he acts as you have to be a amazing modeler to build them, i kinda dissagre, building the first probly takes 20 mins becasue you have to perfect the Jig but after that you litterly can build one in less the 5 minitues, there only one glued joint in the hole thing. try them once and you'll be hooked i already have bought a few more sets. -

thanks, the F-1 suspension is whats on a F-1 car, its basicaly 2 A arms, wiht a shaft coming up the middle, this rod conects to the shocks, this metheode helps inprove balance by keaping the shocks in the middle of the car, and for my case it just looks cool. Thanks agan
