  1. Both this one & the Polar Lights kits had Promo type chassis. Both kits are Curbside. NO Engine.
  2. ANT 86 El Camino SS. Even marked on the box, and stated in many reviews. Even molded in white back then. Guess I need to start it. All the Gunze Sangyo 1/232 scale 50s-60s American kits The show up better in the ones molded in color, but even the 55 Nomad molded in white was very shiny.
  3. AMT's ALF 1000 Series Pumper, Ladder & Snorkle have Axes, as did the Hogan's Hero's Jeep The WW2 re-issue Jeep should still have one too. And a Shovel. G scale parts dealers/manufacturers will have Axes and Shovels. Maybe some of the other items too. Not every Police kit had guns. Jo-Han's 68 Fury did not. The MPC Squad Rod Nova, Force 44 Monaco 2dr, and of course ALL of the 4dr versions have the same guns. The 32 Chrysler Gangbuster's has some too. I think only the Chevy didn't. (been a long time so might need to check again to be sure on that) Hand Guns and Machine guns, rifles in both. Also Gangster & Police figures. I think one has a dagger or 2 as well.
  4. The Promo's I have do show a chassis like the cup cars. (True Value Hardware was a sponsor and sold promos 86,88,90,92/94?? 86 Camaro Only red. 88 Camaro red, blue, white, and black. I think the 90 Daytona's were the same 4 colors. Last issue was available in all 12 colors as I recall)
  5. AMT's Ahren's Fox Pumper. Listed in the 72 catalog. I have a copy somewhere, Just finding it. Done. Now upload to p-bucket here;
  6. That is Not a bad idea. (AS long as I got it back!) There is not fan, but that is no big deal. They can be found in Many kits after all!! And what does the air cleaner look like?? There was no chrome one in the parts the engine was in. Would you want it as is, or dis-assembled?
  7. Thanks for the info. Not sure about trading it though. Since I have one of the Hot-Rod/Street Machine Ranchero kits with the hood opened and the 'Chevy' engine, and you say this is from an Original Annual AMT 62 Falcon, I may have to put it in that!! It would be correct. Or how about in a 66 Mustang??
  8. Definitely Not from a 30's Classic!! Got some pic's but not on the table. Had to hold it. And had trouble logging in to p-bucket to upload and post. Right side; Left side; Valve Cover; Oil Pan; And Definitely Not from the Daytona transport. Isn't that one a Front drive?? I see a Standard type tranny on this
  9. Well, AMT 65 El Camino & Wagon Are The Same Piece!! They Do share the Chassis & Engine. I have a few of each so can compare them!!! Use any of the 3 Rev-Mono kits based off the 65 z-16 Chevelle The Z-16, or the 66 Wagon or El Camino. The El Camino is on a Car platform, Not a Truck, so trying to use the Pickup chassis Will lead to a LOT of cutting. The Rev-Mono El Camino/Wagon/65 Z-16 platform Will fit, I have one under the Twin 65 Wagon
  10. As stated, I found a Chrome Straight-6 engine in a box of parts I got today. I do not recall any kit with one. Anyone here have an idea?? Yea, I know, PIC's!!!!! Sorry, Just got the Engine, and as I take all Pic's Outside, Wind is Too strong. Maybe tomorrow, Wind depending.
  11. No coarser that 320. 400 might be fine.
  12. Latest report is that the Library had a Fire in the Mechanical room and NO explosive at all there!! At least one Bomb was found that did not detonate. (Might be 2 of them) Wish there was a way to Alter these type of "people" to prevent them from doing anything like this!
  13. You will need to correct the interior of it for a correct TwinSonic though.
  14. I guess I am lucky then. I have 2 of the 40 fire Chief. Converting one to a Stock Chief's Buggy. Might leave the other one Hot-Rodded I know I can't Do the Willy's Paddy Wagon stock though!!
  15. I built a first issue of this Rescue version. And have the "Hot Trucks 1975 Blazer" issue to build!! Curious to see if this one gets molded in White only, or all 3 original colors! My Oldie had Only a White body. Interior was molded in Tan, chassis, tires and some small parts were black Plus the Chrome parts. Also Will we get the extra Gumball Rotator Dome caps this time?? I got 6 of them in the AMT 75 Blazer issue!!! Too bad there weren't any Chrome bases for them!. Now, Since getting this one & the Willy's Panel re-issued from this series, What about the 40 Ford Fire Chief And 49/50 Merc Police?? I know the grill is a 49, but read somewhere the front fender trim is actually from a '50.
  16. Actually, Monogram Did include Standard Bumpers in the Indy Pace car version of the 55 Convert. I have both, so I can Compare them!! Are both sets in the Cali Wheels 55 Hardtop?? I definitely want this one!!
  17. How far off from Stock is the Chassis?? Even though they make it Look Stock from the outside, is the chassis Actually stock, or would I be better off swapping in the Old AMT Merc Chassis??
  18. I have a few of the Good Lindberg Vision/Vector from the 97 Crown-Vic. I am modifying one for a CHP version of the kit Blue domes, Amber back inserts, 2 Reflector/rotators in certain domes, etc.
  19. That would have been included in the Tractor kit Not the Trailer. A generic Over the Cab section would have to be adjustable due to the fact that semi trucks come in so many different Sizes!!! Each brand is different If you want the rack over the Cab, you have to Scratch-build it! (That way it will Fit correctly since you will Scratch it ON the cab of choice I think the Only Car carries to have the rack for over the Cab was an All-In-One set from Japan Not sure if it was 1/48, 1/32 or 1/24 scale though. I do know it was EXPENSIVE and Limited
  20. What Lightbar is that suppose to be?? Not a Twin-Sonic with the Boxes for light elements. I like that the Bar is to be chrome, but would liker the rotators, etc that are inside the clear caps to be separate parts. Not something I can't fix. I have done so many times on MPC's similar lightbar. I am glad to see the caps clear. Only need the 2 instead of more. and can tint them any color or leave them clear and tint the parts inside.
  21. I can understand not wanting to separate the headlights, especially if the pins in the grill are what hold them in place too. But can you cut and shape the piece at the bottom and leave it in tact at the top?? The Brochure definitely shows that the bottom of the grill and head lights are flush. The head light bezels tilt back towards the top, while the grill is more vertical.
  22. It looks like the way to make the grill more vertical, is remove the area it is mounted to and Push in the bottom, not pull out the top. At least, that is what I would do. The bottom of the grill looks to be almost flush withthe base of the head light bezel in the1:1 shown. Sure would like to find one of these!!
  23. Missing parts?? How about putting a Complete Unbuilt one, and 2 restorable's in one large box, Putting it aside, and then Not finding it for Months! Still don't know What I did with those 3 Dodge Pickups!!!! Thought I found them, but the Boot box was Empty!
  24. Realized it was a Plymouth After posting and downloading the Full size pic's!! Wonder how hard it would be to Register one of those PD cars!! Especially the Wilmington Black & White!! Got a Friend who always wanted a Mayberry Sheriff Cruiser! Think I need to send him copies of the pic's of that one!!
