Because of the way that the hood attaches to the body. I did not want to try and remove it because the hinges are fragile and would probably crack off . With hood on I can't see what is preventing the hood not to close all the way. I think that I might glue the hood shut.

This 77 T/A build was inspired by my friend Tulios [lovefordgalaxie] amazing box stock builds.This is the most modern car that I have built so far.The HOK Black Basecoat was colored sanded many times,cleared coated,and finally waxed and polished with Mothers products Thanks for looking Mike

I was excited when I opened the box. Everything looked great. The frame seemed to be out of another kit. None of the mounting points lined up. I drilled new holes for the radius rods, rear suspension, front suspension and so on. The engine would not line up. The drive shaft was too short. I scratched built a new drive shaft and new motor mounts. Eventually I got it sorted out. I went to install the belly pan none of cut outs lined up with the suspension parts . I pitched it into the garbage can. Good Luck Mike
