  5. If these vendors are having personal, production problems,or what ever.Just post a notice that you are not taking orders at this time.
  6. I just tried it on Lindberg 53 Ford Contiental Kit. The area that I masked was the center circle where the Ford logo is. I followed the directions. When I airbrushed it I kept away from the mask so there was a minimal amount of paint on it.The mask would not come off no matter what tool I used. Even the scapel that I use for BMF could not peal it off. The mask is water based but still hot water, soap,Super Clean and Easy OFF did not work. The part is ruined too many scrape marks. The first time I used it I had the same problems. This time I brushed it on really thick and still no luck. I give it a big thumbs down Mike

    MIDNITE

I took a break from Drag Cars.I have always wanted a 1:1 Black 62 T-Bird and I'll name her MIDNITE.I built it box stock except for BMF.The paint is HOK Black Basecoat.I spent 4 hours photographing this car.It seems that any BMF flaw, dust, light panel lines, fingerprint smudges really stand out on a black paint job. And knocking off the mirrors while handling and polishing is just another added bonus After fixing these flaws I was finally satisfied with the photos. Thanks for looking Mike
  12. I did some research on 1970's Chevy Funny Cars and they were running 427's.
  13. I am going to build his 1970 Corvette Funny Car.Would he be running a Chevy 427/454 or had the NHRA mandated the 500 cu,in. block by then? I did do a Google search and did not find a answer. Thanks, Mike
  14. I FLIPPED A PIECE OF CARPET OVER AND PUT MY TABLE AND CHAIR ON TOP. THAT IS HOW I DEFEATED THE CARPET MONSTER

  18. While watching the Mecum Auction I saw a Z28 with this color cobo the car was stunning even on TV. I was pleased how the sun really lit up the paint. Thanks for your comments Mike

  20. Thanks guys. Your comments greatly appreciated.
  21. If I were to own a speed shop. This is the kind of Model T Hot Rod I would build to showcase my shops building skills. Parts: 59 Cadillac motor, tires, and wheels. M.A.D. distributor. R&McoMD. air cleaner.Parts box decals and headers. I think the headers are to cartoonish looking. So I wil be looking to replace them. Thanks for looking Mike
  22. On my previous post I used the same picture twice. This is the one that I wanted Mike
  23. While searching for Funny Cars I decied to build a locally sponsered Match Racer.I started with the Chi-Town Funny Car.The engine is fully wired and plumbed. I wrestled for about 2 months with the paint scheme. I used HOK colors and clear coated with their Interline Clear. The Slixx decals worked out perfect. Thanks for looking Mike
  24. What do you think of the cars quality?
