  1. My biggest complaint is the front and rear bumpers. They just don't fit. I did a test fit prior to building the car. They looked ok and needed some work nothing that I could not fix. Wrong!! I could not get them fit no matter what I tried. The taillights also had problems. Why do they sell kit with so many defects?
  2. Are there any extended warranty replacement plans offered for these batteries.? Mike
  3. I too am confused. What is abteilung 502?
  4. I had the same problem as you. It would not come off with hot water, soap or a toothbrush. Pitched it out into the garbage. Now I use Microscales Micro Mask. Works as advertised Good luck Mike
  5. Could a plain text be used to make a custom decal Make them a 1:25th to fit a 1964 Dodge 330 On the doors Chicago Dodge Dealers. Ph# NA 2-0689 On the quarter panel NHRA Record holder 1964,65,67 Thanks Mike
  6. If I had the money, I would restore that P38 Thanks for the pictures
  7. To me it looks like the tires got swapped around. Too many burn outs on the rears. Then the fronts were swapped out to the rear? Mike
  8. Yesterday I looked at my cars the I primed with Aluminum Plate. They are mostly Drag Cars. I didn't mask off anything and just used decals. I masked off the Impala and 442 so that I could airbrush Molotow Chrome on the moldings and other trim. Mystery solved ? Thanks Mike
  9. The Rainbow in Chicago put on a 24-hour concert which included Genises, Richy Havens, Butterfield Blues Band, and others. The Genises Band were the best. Tickets were $12.00. Mike
  10. Now that I think about it. It was a Don Youst video. I did used soap and hot water to wash off the residue. I have an Impala and a 442 soaking in Easy Off. Because of the clear coat and the paint getting torn off. I bought 6 cans each of Aluminum and Titanium metallizer from Hobby Lobby. When I found out that they were not making it anymore. They are great when using them for they were meant for. No more Metallizer for primer!! Thanks for all of your comments Mike
  11. Thank you for all the comments. I normally use Duplicolor Scratch Filler for 80% of my projects. I never had paint pulled off by the tape ever. It never occurred to me that it was the tape. I will try to dummy up the tape. I just wanted to try something new with the Aluminum Plate. I read somewhere that it was a good primer. Again, Thank You Mike
  12. I have been using Aluminum plate as primer for some projects. The masking tape {Tamiya} that I use is pulling the 3 coats of clear and 3 coats paint off the body but, does not pull off the Aluminum plate. I use 3600 hundred to sand the Aluminum plate. Is it possible that 3600 is too smooth for the paint to adhere to the Aluminum plate? Thanks Mike

  14. Stop buying. I am not cheap, but now that models have broken the $30.00 barrier that is too much for me to spend. Build what I have. Start photographing my cars and post them. Mike
