Bueller? Bueller? LOL anyone? Please feel free to chime in any information or ideas you may have? -
So I plan on doing a replica of my Grandfathers 1972 Dodge Charger, I was wanting to know if anyone has attempted to do the hide away headlights? If so, how? Also seeking mopar afficianados in help explaining any differences between the 71 Dirty Donny kit and a 72? I am planning on using this kit as the basis of this project. I believe the car to be an R/T. Not 100% positive atm. I do know its Honey Dew Y4 yellow, with Black stripes. To Scalefinishes I go!!

Job well done. It is a shame there is only one kit option for the street car version! This car is a Rally Icon! Great choice of color too btw. Quick question did your build up on the other site mention how you did the springs? I would really like to know how you did that and what size beading wire you used! Thanks for sharing!

Yea I would have stripped that willys body in a heartbeat, that sucks what happened to it. Its not too late to remove the body is it? Get out the purple pond! Other than that, nice lookin builds! Thanks for sharing!

The car is a more goldish metallic in person, the paint in this picture looks more like a pure yellow.

Deuce Sedan "Old school but not same old same old"

Just amazing what can be done with these bits of plastic! Just inspiring. Great photography as well. -
Another clean build! I really like your style. Seem to like factory fresh or racing subjects. I am very much the same!

Awesome job! I like it. Reminds me of my childhood and the Viper TV show. I would like to do the Indy Pace Car version! Does anyone make that color?

What can be said, that hasn't been said already. Great job on the Mustang. Its odd, the Ford cars do not really have the same aftermarket support as the others...just something I have noticed. Plus as a Mustang fan, I think the kits themselves are sometimes lacking out of the box, compared to other makes...but you sir, did this absolute justice. Thanks for sharing!

Molded in side markers?
buildnething replied to buildnething's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Thanks guys! That makes perfect sense! I was kinda think that or silver paint! Now I know! -
What are everyone's tips on how to achieve an accurate side marker, where an actual clear part is not provided! Like many of the 70s muscle car kits, the body has the side marker molded in the fenders. Just wondering how people go about doing this.Examples!

Hell yea Joe! I work fast lol! Sometimes that iss a good thing and a VERY bad thing! Thanks for the heads up on white paint pen. I bought a gelly roll white ink pen but that fine detail just got flooded. Tire decals are just much quicker and easier. I get them from fireball model works, I think. They cost a couple of bucks for a set. To me its worth it. -

Awesome Story! If its anything like the other kits that made production, I am sure it would have been the best Cobra on the market! I wonder what happened to these molds? Wonder if Revell will make use of them again? -

I kinda want the tank for the environment I am in. I dont want to disturb neighbors. Even though I doubt it can be heard, it just kinda annoying cycling all the time. -
