  1. Maybe thats because it was created on a computer and then "Printed" out.I think it looks pretty good.On a side note do we have to use super glue for this stuff?
  2. Now chuck, that is BEGGING to be made in model form.I see all sorts of styling elements in there.
  3. I know this sounds a little wierd, but I dont rember startin this thread.I thought this was posted in the nnl toledo thread?
  4. Should I do multiple mist coats or a heavy one to get a nice smooth shiny look.I feel stupid because I have done it before but I don't remeber how I did it.Also it's thier gloss black thinned 2:1 2 part paint 1 part thinner, always found the best results that way.
  5. Man I wish I had friends like yours.Thats a sweet kit
  6. Looks great,my favorite shot is the third one.
  7. Wait isn't the point of a monster truck to be a big heavy, gas guzzling, smoke spewing, compact car crushing machine? The only thing that would be good and have "Monster truck" and "Electric powered" in the same sentece would be them using Pr-i (Plural form of prius) instead of junkers for the jumps.
  8. So their making a Cadillac with a fireball feature. What else would you expect from Government Motors?
  9. Only two weeks to go guys!Hope I can see some of ya there.
  10. I wish I could tell you what they were (I'm not super smart ambout speakers) but my best friend has half a dozen speakers and some subs in his car.It is so nice to sit in there after a long day of school and feel the bass vibrating in your chest.
  11. Thank you for the tips,I have never heard of that method before. Thanks again.
  12. Dont forget THE DOH Challenger or the Smokey and the Bandit Fire Bird.

  14. Great job so far. What methods did you use to weather this truck? It looks really nice and grungy.
  15. Taco was a company the produced minibike in the 60's,they are some of the more expensive bikes too.http://www.steenstacominibikes.com/STEENS_History.html

  17. Does anyone have pics of the auto world stuff on the other shelf?
  18. Great job so far on a great subject.I'm sure this will turnout as a masterpeice like your other builds.
  19. I have been halted for that reason many times,I under stand the purpose of it but some are just hatefull about it.Now some stores have finally put up a sign in the back that says so.
  20. Hate to bring this up but by the time you buy a model the paint, glue,BMF your in the same range. All a console needs is that disk, unless you have to pay for online play.Their about even. "My sticker shock is when I look at the price tag on kits at the LHS , and what really gets me is how a kit that was first issued say 30 years ago or longer has a price tag of close $30, I am pretty sure that from the time the kit was first released, and the countless reissued times, the model company has made their money back on the kit, or not, what do I know" My hobby town is chargin 45 bucks for the Moebuis Tim Flock chysler kit,I swear there are times when I think Mike (Store owner) is smokin something. Also I have found he is 20-40% higher then everyone else in models.
  21. That is to cool. Now was the Vette red and the XKE yellow or is that a fan make video on youtube?Either way great job,I love how the railing is flying out of the ground.I think I need to start making some ho scale diorama, just because they don't take up as much room as a 1/24 1/25th scale one.
  22. I had to see it when I saw "Kool Aid" and man I know why. That color is almost dead on.Great job.
  23. Oh man that is sweet. I love that finish.
  24. Great job,has that nice simplistic car vibe to it,It's nice to see something that isn't painted a HOK color (I do like HOK,I just have a broad horizon).Looks great.
