  1. Cool model. Reminds me of a car my sister's boyfriend drove back in the '70's.
  2. Nice build!
  3. Very cool!!
  4. Man, that is a cool looking ride!
  5. That's a great looking replica.
  6. Well done!
  7. Pretty cool. I applaud the unusual wheel choice and carbon fiber work!
  8. Same website. New address. www.svensworldofwheels.com
  9. I baremetal foiled the side gills. I hand painted the back edge black just like the real car.
  10. The wheels are from a testors diecast escallade kit. The kit is pretty rare. I've only seen it only the shelves like once about 7-8 years ago.
  11. For foil casting I use regular tin foil and rub an impression over the emblem or trim part I want to replicate. Then I fill the back side of the foil with a thin coat of five minute epoxy and cut out the piece when dried.
  12. I gotta change it up every once and awhile.
  13. Just finished up this restoration of an old rare built-up MPC '68 Impala. All the build details and more photos are at the link. http://www.svensworldofwheels.com/68_impala_ss427_page.html
  14. Very cool!!!
  15. You should consider leaving the whole car unpainted. It would be a shame to paint this model and hide all the work you've done. It's the finest piece of styrene scratch-building I've ever seen.
  16. I built this Custom Chrysler 300C SRT-8 Convertible from the Revell kit. I cut off the roof, chopped the windshield and scratch made the boot cover. I was going for sort of a Vegas SEMA show look. All the build details and more photos are at the link. http://www.svensworldofwheels.com/300c_srt8_convertible_page.html
  17. I dig it!
  18. Wow. Awesome build. Packed with detail.
  19. Awesome job!
  20. I got the resin pieces from eBay. They show up ocassionally but havent seen them and a while. The seller had some issues and has since been removed. I don't know who did the casting.
