  1. hey james is there room for tractor/trailer parking i always leave for ottawa sunday night maybe i'll leave early and go to the show first
  2. if your going to try it , it will go on cloudy but will dry clear in a few hours, put a bit more than you would want in the pan cause it does shrink a bit, i just did a 66 nova and used it and it turned out real good

  4. hey derick welcome, i order a lot of kits from model roundup or model express and if you get back towards hamilton area there is one there called modellers choice and 15 minutes from him is dundas valley hobby shop in dundas there are a few more in the area but never been to them myself
  5. I do order most kits online because of the wide selection but i still have to make the trip to the store for paints and such, since these can't bemailed

  7. I live in a city of 125,000 and not 1 hobby store go figure,well theres micheals but they have nothing, i have to travel 1 hour for the nearest hobby store which is pretty well stocked and she'll get whatever you want if you tell her
  8. i used silicone on mine and have not had a problem ,,
  9. everything was going great, first time spraying a pearl and it turned out great , i have a old fridge thats not working so i put them in there when i'm done for a few days and from the paint booth to the fridge there they were 3 particals inbedded in the paint grrrrr

  11. Joseph you should try this stuff it's great my wife is big into card making/scrapbooking and gave me this to try and it's great , you just pour it into your headlight pan and let it dry (couple of hours ) you can get it at micheals
  12. I just finished painting body and through all my percautions i still got 3 specks of dust that settled on paint how can i get them off with out messing up paint job ,,( painted with boyd enamel )

  16. the 66 nova i picked up for 2.00 today(missing inst sheet) the other 3 in the mail and swapped out all my enamels for acrylics

  19. Okay to most of you this is a no brainer, but i got some wheel sets and am trying to figure how to get them to work

Well with me i start work at 3:30 am work till about 1 pm when i get home i like to go to the model room for a bit then i'll nap for hour then back downstairs for hours even if i don't do any building i'll read model cars even go through my stash of kits time just flies by when i'm down there now when summer weather gets here i'm usually out side all the time soaking all the good weather i can
  21. got everything at micheals the glass jars where on clearence for 1.49 i acually took what they had (10) and the bottles were in the cake decorating dept 3.50 for the 2 small ones and 3.00 for the big
