  3. Trial and error, after a few builds you'll figure out which way best suits yourself i'm sure you'll do great
  4. like i said every one here will have there on opinions and there own practices on doing this, this is my way, i've never had a problem doing it this way

I too have only been back in the hobby for a few months,, I think you will get a lot of different answers to this but myself i leave all the small parts on the sprue then prime and paint, then take them off the sprue to clean up the spots where it was attached then i just dab paint on the parts were it was attached, all the larger parts, body,hood,frame, seat pan and so on i prime those off the sprue
  6. I do wear latex all the time when painting, the prints showed up doing the BMF prior to final assembly
  7. i thought about another coat but don't really want to put the clear over BMF

Okay i just finished my 71 hemi cuda and has the best paint and BMF i've did so far, and noticed finger prints in clear coat i used krylon crystal clear and let it dry for 6 days before i attempted to touch it , the prints showed up while i was doing the foil,,What can i use to get rid of the paw prints

  12. WOW!!!! very nice very nice indeed , it brings back alot of memeories with my dad behind the wheel of one in the late 60's early 70's
  13. I" keep a q tip by my side from now on ,i know when i cleaned the brush there was a build up of paint on the tip thanks guys
  14. if i got it i use tamiya thinner which i did if i don't have it i use 70 % iso alcohol

  17. Okay i just airbrushed 71 cuda with tamiya orange for the most part it was spraying with a fine mist but every now and then there would be some larger than mist spots show up i thinned it and air psi was about 20 25 psi what would have been the cause of the small blobs

  19. Mail delivery dropped off 1 case of tamiya Fine White primer and 1 case of grey
  20. Nicholas great job on the carpet, i tried embossing powder not sure what i did wrong but it didn't look like that
  21. Well this is the only one i could find on the computer it just so happens my beautiful wife is in it also
