  9. theres way to much of that going on today it's scary,I work from day to day never noing if i go in and the doors will be locked i'm in the automotive brake pad industry we had one big company in town and was getting 60 hours a week trucking for them then they decided to move there canadian side of the bussiness to china, now we still work for there parent company in kentucky but hours have dropped down to 20 to 30 hours a week, it's just a matter of time before they to are gone, and the company i work for that does this work for them i have been with for 28 years and to know it can all be gone with no warning is pretty stressfull, theres no real way to prepare for it when you get over 50 not many places see you as employable and the ones that do expect you to take atleast a 10 to 12 dollar an hour cut in pay
  10. theres a lot of helpfull tips i watched mine twice before i started
  11. yea it's not really a color for the era and wasn't planning on building it but it turned out so good i had to finish
  12. I bought this kit for 2 bucks with no intensions of building the kit, i just wanted the body to practice laying down some enamel with the airbrush, but when i was done the paint was flawless so i figured i will go ahead and build it, used donns method with the paint and i give it a 10,the paint is Boyd aluma yellow pearl with no clear i did go and buy some but didn't want to mess up the paint job besides it's shiney shiney, detailed engine with plug wires, battery cables, braided rad hose and stainless fuel line( neckless chain from micheals) running from the tank to engine, thanks for looking the next picture is just to give you an idea how shiney it turned out and finally the undercarriage
  13. sweet ride that color combo just suits it
  14. Well after watching Donns video a few times i finally painted a flawless and extremelly glossy paint job with boyds Aluma Yellow Pearl now with it being so glossy should i top coat with clear, i have dupli color clear and testors wet look lacquer clear or should i get the modelmaster clear and air brush it on, i think the rule of thumb is no lacquer over enamel just wondering if that is also for clears
