  1. Hey roger this is on my bench right now but can't figure the color out i have done a few spoon test with the tamiya metalic green the closest, but don't want to use it cause it's metalic and meatalic wasn't used on the origional,, what color did you use if you don't mind me asking
  2. Okay my next build is going to be the Struse*Smith*Welsh project six pack and the closest match to the paint i can find is in the Pactra line (rally green) for R/C Cars, i am wondering if anybody has used this brand on there builds, or have i missed a color that will come close to it thanks

  7. Been working on this for 3 weeks, paint is tamiya clear red with champagne gold base dist by m.a.d carbs by calnaga castings fuel line detail master rad hose by pro tech not liking the look of the fuel line from detail master ,won't use thie type again, Thanks for looking

  19. Went to my local Micheals to look for detail stuff only to find all there models were on clearence for $8.99 so i picked up another 68 hemi dart and a 2009 challenger special edition and 2 revell display cases for $3.99 each
  20. I would have to say mine would be the revell 68 hemi dart.. built 3 so far and have 3 more in the works

  22. Tamiya fine primer is all i use, and i have done 3 bodies so far with dupli color with no problems

This started out in cardinal red for another build but couldn't wait for decals to arrive so in the pond it went It's painted model master lacquer" Hugger Orange" with MM gloss the side windows are just the evergreen clear Distributer is from MAD Scratch built fuel T ,not very happy with it, a little to big for my likeing Carbs and Fuel Line are from Pro Tech And Diodes from radio shack for fuel filters

Years ago when i started collecting diecast i made 2 large cabinets with glass shelves, the back has 1/4 inch foam tape and the front doors also have the foam tape,so when it's against wall it is sealed from dust, after being in there for 10+ years (no dust either) i moved them to make room for my builds, i figure 1 cabinet can hold 225 to 250 models, no chance in this life time to fill them up
