I wouldn't even remove the existing paint. Why bother? Just paint right over it.

If that was actually the case, they'd have no case. The listing clearly states the wheels are scale model wheels. I think the bidding is rigged by the seller.

Two possibilities: A. The bidding is rigged; the seller is having his buddies drive the bidding (or he's doing it himself via multiple accounts)... if they sell for an outrageous price, the seller makes a fortune (and maybe gives his "bidding buddies" a cut). If one of his buddy's fake bids is the winning bid, the seller just doesn't collect and the fake auction is over. B. Someone thinks they're actually bidding on real, full-scale wheels.

Man, that's a pretty slick rescue. Nice!

Despite whatever problems you had with this kit, the end result looks great. One thing I would do is add a black wash on the wheels.

I can't believe that's a 1/24 scale model! The level of detail you put into such a small model is amazing! It looks better than many 1/8 Pochers I've seen. Stunning!

Anyone can call themselves a "pro" or claim the model is "pro built." It's meaningless.

Makes sense to me that if you know who the creator is, a quick mention would be a nice gesture.
