Very nice! I've never seen this kit built up. You really did a spectacular job. Like I said... shoot this outdoors at the right angle and it easily passes for the real deal. Have you considered adding graphics or company markings? License plates?

But the problem is there's no selling allowed here.

Put that into the right environment and shoot it from the proper angle and that could very easily pass for the real thing. Very nice! Now how about a few shots of the engine?

One of my favorite goofs that I see in movies and on TV over and over again: the scene where two people are "driving" down the street and our point of view is through the windshield of the car, where we can see the "traffic" behind them through the rear window of the car... and the "traffic" going on behind them is a total mismatch to where or how they're supposed to be driving. Or even better, when the same "traffic" keeps repeating itself every few seconds because they just kept running the same film loop of "traffic" over and over again.

The guy was pretty stupid to try and pass off the car as a Z16 when it had so many obvious clues that it was not what he claimed it was. What an idiot.

The car in the photo is a Spanish 1968 or 69 Dodge Dart 3700GT. Spanish auto maker Barreiros built cars in Spain under contract from Chrysler. From Allpar.com: Before 1963, Dodge cars were imported into Spain in relatively small numbers by distributors. In 1963, Barreiros started to produce Dodge Darts under contract from Chrysler Corporation at the Villaverde factory. The local Barreiros Dart had a different front clip to show its higher market position, a four-speed manual transmission, and disc brakes at every wheel. A local-production version was made from 1965 to 1977, with just under 17,600 units sold during that entire period. The main reason for limited production arrangements such as this was protection of domestic production by the government. The Dart was Spain’s largest locally produced vehicle throughout its life, despite being expensive and relatively thirsty. The base model was the Dart GL; the sporty model was the Dart GT; and the Dodge 3700GT (named after the 3.7 liter / 225 cubic inch engine) was added at the top of the range later. Because of the high market position of the Darts, and their unusual six-cylinder engine (most Spanish cars used four cylinders), they were the official car for Spanish politicians for several years. I agree 100%. If the real car had chrome door handles, they should be separate pieces on the chrome tree. A few models are made that way, but not many. They should all be done that way, IMO.

I mix putty and epoxy with pieces of sprue, apply it with a small flexible polyethylene applicator. To clean off the applicator you just peel the hardened putty or epoxy right off; they don't stick to the poly plastic. So I really don't have much use for dull blades.

I bought a 100 blade box of Excel blades for less than 20 bucks. At that price I don't mind just throwing a blade out when it's not sharp anymore and popping in a fresh one.
