  1. Same place anyone, anywhere, can. The internet.
  2. Building model cars is supposed to be fun and relaxing... not a chore or a hassle. Geez, maybe you really do need a different hobby...
  3. Are you using the Mayan calendar? (Joined May 2010)...

    Wow... that's some nice junk!!!
  5. Exactly! And if someone posts a comment you don't like, just go with the flow and don't get all freaked out and "offended" (I'm not talking about you, I mean people who post photos in general).
  6. To me it's very obvious: This is a public forum, and there's no way (apart from severe censorship, which we won't do) to sort out all the comments so that only the "nice" ones remain. If you post pictures of your work on a public forum, you need to accept the fact that the public will respond (as is their tight). You'll get positive comments, negative comments, and sometimes rude comments... but if you post, you're open to comments. If you can't handle the comments, don't post your work. Simple as that.

    He asked for comments.
  8. I don't know how you do it all in such a small scale, but you do it!
  9. Now that's a library!
  10. Ok, this might be "cheating," because I didn't build it, I just created it digitally...
  11. Gorgeous, Bill!
  12. Be careful what you wish for. If you really mean it, and are able to handle "constructive criticism," that's good, because you'll get exactly that. You'll get all sorts of comments and suggestions on how to improve your work. Take it in the manner that it was meant and you'll be fine. But some people here don't like to hear anything except "great job," and they get all bent out of shape if anyone dares to make any sort of criticism. For your sake, I hope you're not one of those guys.
  13. That's neat! Nice detailing.
  14. Geez, for a guy who "doesn't care" whether or not people comment, you sure seem upset.
  15. Yeah, sometimes I actually build the tiny (1/24 scale) models! No, the chains aren't flexible, they're molded in place like that.
  16. BTW... MCM has always been monthly. Just not the month that the calendar says it is!
  17. I've seen them in the same room at the same time. They basically ignored each other.
  18. Amazing work! The body mods alone are a work of art. This is going to be really good!
  19. Contest coverage is provided by many different people... Gregg can't possibly be at all of them! So we basically have to run the photos we get. I don't know if it would be possible to coordinate all the people who photograph all the contests and have them select a few models at every contest to shoot closeups/detail shots. A good idea in theory, probably more like herding cats in real life.
  20. With those safety cones... I assume that cow is stalled?
  21. I told Gregg a million times, stop parking your car on top of the internet hose...
  22. Like it says... new EPA testing is more realistic. That 30 MPG rating was very unlikely (if not downright impossible) to achieve in real-world driving.
  23. The site was acting weird a while ago. I thought maybe it was just me, but I guess it's the site. Sorry... all my funds are currently invested with a very friendly Nigerian prince who emailed me a while ago. Sounded like a great guy...
  24. If any of you got a crazy email from me... it wasn't me! Someone got into my email account and sent all sorts of stuff to my contacts. I think the problem is fixed now (at least I hope it is).
