  1. I think Tony Nancy was a "junior." Didn't Tony Nancy Sr. start the upholstery shop?
  2. Of course, today a lot of cars are just appliances...
  3. A few more vintage MOPAR ads from back in the day...
  4. A lot of the "letter names" of current cars don't mean anything... they're just dreamed up by the company. The way it started out, many European performance cars had "letter names" instead of the American style of "word names," and the American auto makers decided to copy the European naming convention... so now we have an alphabet soup of "names," most of which stand for nothing at all.
  5. I was thinking more like, you know, not going over there... But your way might work, too.
  6. Using the links Mark supplied, it seems to me you would be able to build a much more realistic version by forgetting the kit and scratchbuilding it.
  7. Of course, there's always the obvious solution...
  8. Easiest way to do that is to just go to some other sites and see if they work. If they do, then the problem isn't on your end, the problem is with the site that isn't working.
  9. We have a few switch-hitters among us...
  10. And I say you owe me twenty bucks! So pay up!
  11. Computers can't "see" anything... they can only process input. GIGO, as the saying goes. (Garbage In, Garbage Out). To say that a computer program can't accurately render complex shapes, curves and contours is incorrect. The error is not with the software, but with the person using the software.
  12. It all depends on which website you believe... http://www.xbgt.info...registry75.html (Scroll down to the bottom)...
  13. I thought he was talking about the price!!!
  14. We don't see many of those here! Nice job, I like the color.
  15. If you don't PM the answer to me... how do we know you were right???
  16. Why, you oughtta be hoisted by your own petard...
  17. You can add me to that list. My dad's very first car ever was a 1960 Falcon, turquoise with a white top, and I remember that car to this day. He was so proud of it, and happy to finally have a car... because it meant he didn't have to take the bus to work anymore (actually, three buses each way). So I'll always have a soft spot for Falcons...
  18. Yeah, it's not exactly a gullwing Mercedes... but a Falcon Sprint was a pretty hot little car back in the day. Heck, it was the Mustang before the Mustang! So we'll pencil you in to the "loyal oppostion" side of things, then...
  19. How about we say you're a member of the "loyal opposition?"
  20. Why not? As far as the experience of building a model car, it doesn't get much better. Putting together a Pocher gives you a ton of satisfaction (and more than a little frustration along the way)!
  21. Ok... from now on you are a "contrarian"...
  22. Yes it is! It's a 1975 Ford Falcon (Australia) XB-GT. Who got it right: chillyb1 mr chips Stasch Carmikeman Jon Cole Nitro Neil modelmartin Frank Draggon Chris R mr moto mark taylor paul alflen Badluck13 Drgon63
  23. Oh, come on! Blaming the camera? Really??? That's the oldest cop-out in the book. Try setting it to "macro" if you're going to shoot a close-up... even the cheapest digital camera can take an in-focus photo. Even a disposable camera can take in on-focus photo.
  24. Black panel, orange insert.
