  1. No part. It was a theoretical question. (Or is that a rhetorical question?)
  2. Airbrush. It's pretty much the only way to get that heat-stained look.
  3. I've glued my fingers together in his honor many times...
  4. That works no matter what browser you use.... it's a feature built into the computer. You're actually zooming in on your whole screen, not just the photo.
  5. How about this one? Real or model? The answer: REAL!
  6. Dave... thanks for the updates. And thank you, Moebius!
  7. I agree with G... one of Lindberg's best. You'll have a beautiful model when you're all done.
  8. Another beauty! Superb attention to detail. But the stripes fit the body perfectly... so they must be from a Nova kit, right?
  9. Holy schmoly! You really knocked it out of the park with that one! That's one of the finest scale Novas I've ever seen. So many things to comment on, but for some reason my eye goes to the wheels. I love the way you detailed them. Definitely a 10+!
  10. This song is running through my mind right now... Thanks, V! You made my day!
  11. The Corvair is cool, but I really like the Mercedes! BTW... you need to post some bigger photos!
  12. BTW... nice tiki music in the video! I have a craving for a pina colada all of a sudden...
  13. I think you used some colors on that thing that weren't even invented yet before you started! I don't know how you do it... every one of your creations is so different and so unique; you never seem to repeat yourself. Looks like there is still plenty of untapped "Cranky Creativity" available for several more "projects" down the road...
  14. How do you know there were only two? Maybe there were even more...
  15. The HL around here also has a nice selection, and no empty spaces on the shelves.
  16. Three words: Bare Metal Foil.
  17. Very cool! Man, where have you been??? Good thing you finally decided to show your work.
  18. I agree with Cato. About time you started posting photos of your work! Keep it up! Welcome to the "active poster" club!
  19. Not a fan of show rods, so I don't know what this one is "supposed" to look like... but that color is perfect! Very cool (no pun intended!) (although I see this one also has the famous "alternator hanging in space with no visible means of support")...

Very cool! I like it. The red stripe between the roof and the body is a real nice touch.
  21. I think that the length of each pipe is engineered for maximum efficiency... and sometimes in order to get a particular length of pipe to fit a particular space, you have to introduce some crazy bends to get everything to fit where it has to fit.
  22. I'm not sure whether or not you were going for a factory stock look, but if you were, you're missing an awful lot of chrome trim...
  23. If you upload your photos to a photo hosting site like Photobucket, then you can post your photos here by copying the photo's image tag and pasting it into your post here. On Photobucket it's the line below your photo that says "IMG Code." As far as resin bodies, the quality is all over the map, from bodies you couldn't tell apart from kit bodies, to blobs that are nothing more than useless junk. When buying from a resin caster you have to know who you're dealing with. Best bet is to post here and ask about a specific body you want before you lay out your hard earned $$$... people here will give you good advice as to who makes a quality resin body that you're looking for.
  24. Get a different brand. There are a lot of semi-gloss blacks out there, mostly in spray cans. Krylon, Rustoleum, etc., etc.
  25. Great start... and I love the look of the wheels!
