Ok... points made. Don saw this, and I'll assume he'll be in contact with the O.P. So now, that magic moment has come.

The problem is, complaints about Reliable resin have been made here dozens of times before, and it usually doesn't do much, if anything, to resolve the issue. What usually happens is a bunch of other people start piling on, then Don comes on and defends himself, then more people chime in, etc., and before you know it we have another "Reliable Resin vs. Everyone Else" war going on. You get the picture. Basically the "Reliable Resin screwed me" threads wind up getting locked or deleted.

If what you claim is true, and he hasn't answered your emails, what makes you think he'll respond to this? Any problems between you and Reliable Resin are between you and Reliable Resin. They don't belong here. We don't offer mediation services. And like Ken said... if you want to be a legitimate member here, you need to add your real name.

I checked AT&T's site and couldn't find any info, but many other sorces say it's going to happen, and AT&T customers should get a heads-up in the mail between now and the end of the month. We shall see...

This is obviously the "Little Red Wagon" kit with a new decal sheet... so why not toss in the old LRW decal sheet, too? Call it a 3-in-1 kit (stock, drag LRW, and Coke version)... everybody wins! I think Lindberg missed the boat here by not including the LRW markings. Heck, even add a buck or two to the retail price if they have to pay for a decal re-print, but really... this kit could so easily have been more than what it is.

Well, I tried the "ammonia fume" method. Nothing. After a couple of hours, still nothing. I'll leave the sheet overnight and see what, if anything, has happened by tomorrow morning.

At the top right of the page there is a drop-down menu that appears under your screen name. Click on "My Settings." On the Settings page, click on "Profile." Then click on "Change Avatar" and follow the instructions.

Jairus–are you sure this will work? Is the blackness permanent or does it rub off? Is it just the fumes that do the job, or will it go faster if I actually put the brass into the ammonia? If this works, I'll go get some ammonia and a container from the dollar store big enough to do the whole sheet at one time.

I want to blacken a whole sheet of PE parts... so the ammonia fume trick wouldn't be practical. I was hoping for a simple trick like oven cleaner or something. Guess I'll have to take a ride to the LHS and pick up a bottle of Blacken-it. No problem... it gives me the perfect excuse to drop in...

Besides "Blacken-It" and other commercial products, is there any "home-brew" type concoction that will blacken brass the same way?
