  1. I just edited the post to add the pictures as they didn't load the first time.
  2. I'm trying to finish up the models that got started last year but never finished due to procrastination. Here's a '32 Ford 5 Window Coupe. I used the Revell kit with some parts from the Rat Roaster kit. It is painted Tamiya Purple. The wheels and tires, mirror and little antenna are from my parts stash. It's got a PE grille from MCG and an MAD prewired distributor. The interior is partially painted with Lavender enamel. Chrome details were done with BMF and Molotow Chrome Ink. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. Any and all comments are welcomed and appreciated. Thanks for looking in on this. Now to pull another one out of the "pile".

  11. I love your new Avatar Bill.
  12. Yeah I remember that annoying almost screeching sound when trying to connect to AOL. My daughters used to hate when I was on the 'puter back then, because they couldn't use the house phone.
  13. Great looking model Paul. I love the interior.
  14. Thanks David. The blue dots are small MV lenses that I get from the model train section at my LHS.
  15. Back when I owned and drove my 1959 Dodge Coronet (in the late 90's) our family got our first computer. My friend Tom said that I needed a screen name for the old AOL Model Chat Rooms (remember those...??) I used my initials R.A.M., fins and 59 for my Dodge.
  16. Thank you all very much for your kind words gentlemen. Yes Tom. barring any unforseen circumstances, you'll be seeing me at your little show in April.
  17. Here's a Revell '50 Oldsmobile done up as a mild Custom. This one has been on my bench for several months because I couldn't get the interior and chassis assembly to fit properly up into the body. The rear seat and pkg. tray needed some trimming, and the dashboard needed to sit lower...... all found by repeated trial fitting and trimming and refitting. The colors are Tamiya Light Green on the roof & wheels, and Tamiya Pearl Green on the body. The flame decals are from my parts stash as are the taillights, spotlights, lake pipes and baby moon hubcaps. The mirror & antenna are scratchbuilt. The interior pieces (except for the dash & steering wheel) are resin pieces by Ed Fluck. The dash is painted the roof color with BMF & Molotow pen trim along with the kit decals. Black embossing powder was used for the carpets. The horn ring was chromed with Molotow ink and a custom shifter was added (courtesy of Forum member James Scott a/k/a Joker......Thanks James.) along with a turn signal lever using a piece of shirt pin. I added an MAD prewired distributor and battery cables in the engine compartment along with some chrome "bling" with Molotow ink. I wish it sat a bit lower but I'm OK with it. I'm glad that this one is finally done. Now on to the next one...... I'm on a roll lately for a change. Any and all comments are welcomed as usual.
