  1. Added drip rails and got it in primer. Hopefully I can get some paint on it today
  2. Brought this one back out. I raised the windshield opening. I also picked up a set of Goodyear MTR's and method wheels from fireball modelworks. These things are beautiful. Highly recommended. I need to machine some braked drums so that I can get the tires spaced out farther. Here is how it sits.

    Thanks. its just flocking
  7. Ok. I decided to dig this one back out now that I have a place to work on models again. I never like how far the front tires stuck out so I machines the resin that came with the wheel kit and was able to move them in so they look right. This kit also has a forward rake that I didn't like so I machines 1/8" aluminum spacers for the front to level it out. I still need to order the other two tires and machine the spacers for the other duals. I also cut the frame off just behind the rear shackle mounts to give it more of a bobbed look(not pictured). Thanks for all the great comments everyone. Here are a few updates pics

thanks that is fun tack under the engine very useful to keep it in place when doing fine details
  12. those 2x4s are used to hold parts to paint. I have holes drilled in them to hold up the alligator clips that have sprue attached to them. I spray paint almost every piece in a kit so these are very handy to hold parts.

Now that I have the new space set up it was finally time to build something. Here is where I am at after a couple of evenings.
  14. We moved into our new house back in November and just finished the new work space. I used 100+ year old reclaimed wood flooring attached to a frame and refinished and set it on some organizing cubes bought at Walmart. I have a lot of bench space and everything is within reach. i also built a space for the wife to work on crafts
  15. Finished this one a couple weeks back.
  16. I was originally going for a clean shiny build but wasn't feeling it after I got it cleared so I decided to dirty it up. I will pull my lowboy trailer with my cat D8. Here is where at.
  17. Hobby Lobby has a spot cleared for it already!!! I see a few of these in my near future.
  18. It sure does. What a huge mistake!
  19. I've been looking for one of these. What is it from?
  20. Here's my one and only
  21. Picked one up at the LHS today! Just need to figure out what tractor to put with it.
  22. Still pluggin away at this one. About all that's left is to weather the dozer. I wanted to see how it looked with a tractor so I hooked up an unfinished ca hauler.
  23. Man I was thinking about doing my stretched 359 just like that one. Guess I will go with plan B. Nice build!!!
  24. Actually it was a challenger. And it is a 70 boss 429 in the back ground that I need to fix after loosing some parts in transport home from a show and also my 2 year old son getting ahold of it.
