  1. Not the style I usually like but that has a cool, understated aggressive look to it. Nice job.
  2. You're making me kick myself for passing over these whenever I've spotted them at the swaps. Pretty cool.
  3. Thanks, I appreciate it. That's right, your front beam was plastic. I'd think that these parts would blend right in nicely with some of the buffing metalizers. Might look particularly cool if you used them after some distance spraying to get a light cast texture. Buffing over the texture really gives it a unique depth. Maybe try it out on a scrap part if you haven't before and see if it fits the bill.
  4. rotf Foxer, looks great. haha. I may have missed it but I'm also curious if your daughter has seen this, or are you waiting 'til it's all done?
  5. Beatnik Bandit, Thames Panel, Anglia also have the 394. If I remember right, the BB one is all chrome, too. They are a little fiddly, but can look very good with a little patience.
  6. Rad. Winfield fades would rock on this.
  7. Yup. Nice lil' hot rod.
  8. Never see enough east coast style hot rods in scale. Love it.
  9. Stance is perfect...not too low, not too high...just right.
  10. I <3 4 doors (I know, I'm weird haha). Very cool.
  11. Very nice...and one of my favorite kits. I need to build another.
  12. Kripes, Steve...I don't know how you continue to out-do yourself like this. Absolutely stellar.
  13. I checked out your build thread a couple times after you got rolling on it, but hadn't been back for updates in a while. That came out real sharp!
  14. Love the white belly (ha that sounded really bad). Looks great!
  15. Thanks, guys. I'll have more pics up by the end of the weekend. Suede rod probably fits it best, but it's pretty mellow. Just a tasty cruiser.
  16. Nice blue...what is it?
  17. Looking good, Randy. Real good. I see your early post about what you use in soldering, but I can't tell what flux you have there. That seems to be the steaming road apple in my path to a proper solder joint...could you enlighten me?

    Shelby GT500

    Sharp.
  19. Who ya gonna call...
  20. Haha! Love it...easter egg colors, ground effects and tri-spokers and all. Somehow, it works. And who doesn't love seeing a Matador build now and then? I've got one sitting in a box that I started eons ago and never finished. Now you've got me looking at it cross-eyed wondering if I should attack it again. I just went back up and looked it over again. If you squint, it almost looks like a Corvair bumped uglies with a Mustang II and this came out 9 months later.
  21. Gotta love a quickie to get over the hump. Doesn't look bad at all, either.
  22. Excellent job. We usually only see these as basket cases on ebay in need of rescue...rarely the post-rescue beauty! My mom has a '63 New Yorker station wagon that I've been trying to get from her for...well, decades. After all this time slowly rotting away, I'm not sure I even want it anymore. Yeah right. Of course I do.
  23. Here's a sneak peek at one I'll be finishing up over the next couple weeks. I started it a long, long time ago, so I have little to offer for in-progress pics, but I'm taking them as I go here during the last few stages. The wood is some walnut I've had hanging around for a while. I took some slices off on the table saw and sanded it down a little thinner yet. Rails are some Plastuct H beam which I rounded over the tops a bit. A little foil, a little golden oak stain, and here it is. Thanks for looking, Glu
