  1. Tks much, I’m learning a lot and enjoying doing it more than airbrushing.
  2. I’ve been working on a few of these old Aurora kits
  3. Really great idea. I enjoy one off stuff. Looking cool!
  4. This is the third of a series of four vehicles made for the monster toy series from Burger King kids meals in the 90s. I did a Frankenstein’s Wagon first, Creature’s Surf Rod second, and am currently working on this guy. I took a vintage MPC Tee Trike body and extra parts and cut the top off, then amended the sides a bit. I also removed the floor board and moved the seat back all the way. The engine will be replaced by a small blown one I believe might be from the Opel GT Kit. Body will be Metallic Brown and of course the figure will be totally repainted. Last pic is test fitting before painting.
  5. Thanks all very much. I’m still learning with each one. I did one for the Frankenstein toy also from Burger King from the 90s kids meal. Two more left to do, working on the Wolfman and Dracula and already have their rides picked out.
  6. Thank You
  7. The building of this can found at: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/140024-creature’s-crate/
  8. Built a little deck out of hobby sticks for the keg gas tank and added some side rails.
  9. I’ll do it. I have a project that will take many months and I keep shelving it.
  10. Well he’s almost done and his buddy joined him on the workbench tonight. That’s the Frankenstein Monster toy, another from Burger King.
  11. Tks much!
  12. That would be cool!
  13. Thanks Dave. I’m just playin around but he ain’t bad!
  14. Test fitting...
  15. And his crotch will be blocked from view by the shifter and steering wheel, thankfully.
  16. Well that tub is too small so I scrapped the “sea water” idea. Here’s some shots of the painting of that crappy jelly looking toy.
  17. Excellent. Thank You!
  18. And since the figure is exaggerated out of scale, I won’t use the top. Instead I’ll fill the interior with “sea water” like a fish tank. Looking for that clear stuff that hardens and looks like water.
  19. I’ve had this old Surf Woody laying around and since I already made a Haulin’ Wagon for Frankie, I thought I’d make something for the Creature. Both from Burger King toys of the 90s. Figure to be repainted.
  20. I forgot the trim at the bottom!
  21. Done and on my buddy’s shelf. Not sure how to switch this to the “Under Glass” section? It’s not bad but I learn more every time.
