  1. The white dehydrators have a fairly flexible plastic, making it easy to cut the centers from the outer ring with a sprue cutter. I'm thinking the trays in the clear plastic dehydrators could be a bit brittle. BTW, I keep the centers. You'd be surprised how handy they are when trimmed to a smaller diameter.
  2. I found it on Amazon, and it's a bit more expensive than the round dehydrators. Go figure.
  3. If you don't like the round dehydrator, get the square one. Maybe add some extra rings for more height.
  4. Very cool, and different! Me like!
  5. Just about all of the relatively rare kits I've purchased over the past twelve years have been bought through eBay. At fair prices. Not to mention dozens of non-hobby related items. I'm eBay addicted to be sure!
  6. Look to the left of my spray booth. That's a dehydrator I use for accelerated parts drying. Works great, although I've since added some height to it with additional rings.
  7. The old IMC '48 Ford coupe kit. Tried one as a teenager and failed miserably. Me and multi-piece body kits don't play well, so we don't play together anymore.
  8. I like it!
  9. WOW! Very nice! All of them!
  10. Nice setup. I just cleaned my bench this weekend. I couldn't stand it anymore. I'll try to get some pictures of my organized work area before I find a way to mess it up again. And I will.
  11. Got a link I can order it through? Gotta have one!
  12. What everyone else said is right! That's an unacceptable water drainage scenario. Contact your local county.
  13. It's the store display. Someone posted this picture on another forum, so I can't take credit for it or any of the other images in this post.
  14. I'm waiting for this one, but not holding my breath...
  15. Almost any of the sixties and early seventies AMT box art does it for me! The box art represented a perfect world imagining of what the kit would look like when built, although we all know that was rarely the case.
  16. Ken's (Fuzzi-Fur) black flocking is number 103. Detail Master discontinued theirs, as did Testors. Go figure.
  17. I think Amazon usually has books well before the usual book stores do, so it might be some time before it shows up at your store of choice.
  18. Here's two. The black Vic is an AMT body modified to work with Revell fenders, etc. The orange sedan is the Revell kit with a SBC.
  19. This is right up your alley John! I have it, and it's a great look at show rods, past and present. It's just been released by Amazon.
