  1. Actually, the front rims in Round 2's PP005 parts pack are brand new, with a five bolt pattern. The Ohio George front rims are a four bolt, and a holdover from the original tooling. The rear rims in the parts pack are the newly tooled extras found in the Ohio George kit.
  2. OOPS! That was me. I should have put my "wanted" item(s) in that category, and I stuck my post in the trade category. Duh.
  3. The eBay auction is almost up to fifteen grand. Amazing!
  4. The Tumbler arrived in distribution this week. They should start to show up on hobby shop shelves any day now.
  5. Shop around. I'm sure they'll be discounted through various sellers.
  6. The ones I've stolen? None. Sorry. Just being silly here.
  7. $13.99 is the Round 2 price. They'll be higher at any LHS. I'm getting a bunch, regardless.
  8. Agreed. MSRP is in the $17 range, although I'm sure they'll be discounted through the usual on-line sites.
  9. Oh Yeah! Gorgeous set! Gotta get multiples!
  10. I'm on board with what Virg says, particularly about the tools and the need to inform yourself. I've been at this almost all of my life, with time off for military duty and life in general.
  11. I should have bought one, because it's a beautiful piece. But noooooooooo. I waited, and now DM is sold out.
  12. The DM good stuff is out there on the big auction site, but prices are all over the place. It pays to be dilligent.
  13. My very last car should look as good as your first one. Excellent model. Please finish it.
  14. Like Harry said. They've recently offered a '48 Chev Aerosedan, but that sold out quickly. I've been watching that other auction site, trying to find items that I've missed from DM. Turns out DM wasn't able to get their tooling out of the "closed" factory, and that accounted for much of their inventory. A shame.
  15. Oops! 95 degrees is the lowest setting, which is plenty warm enough. Here's what mine looks like with some rings added for height. Also a peek at the inside...
  16. I have a bunch of magazines as well, but I've learned that I can't keep 'em all. Some get gven away, a few get saved, and many end up being recycled,
  17. Who's got 'em? This is my bloated collection. It's still growing.
  18. My "collection". The go-to, often used colors are at the top.
  19. Pretty big. 84" long and 41" deep. After I'm done cluttering it up, I'll be back to a square foot of work space. These pics were taken after a clean up session.
  20. I believe Pegasus Hobbies now owns the So Real wheels and tires line, however their supply of those items can be a little spotty. Sorry for the nominally crappy images.
  21. The Jetson's meet the Thunderbirds, if any of you are old enough to remember that far back. Ira has outdone himself! Great model!
  22. I doubt we'll see a flathead in the kit.
  23. Excellent go-to book for weathering techniques!
