  1. Another great look-see, and thanks! That kit will be making its way into my stash, for sure!
  2. Can anyone tell me what quality to expect with a Hendrix casting? I'm looking at buying a '32 Ford four door sedan. TIA!
  3. He means Other People's Money (OPM)! Always a great Christmas gift!
  4. You always want what I buy! Ante up! Buy one now!
  5. Excellent look-see, and thanks! I'm waiting patiently for mine to arrive. I'm also waiting not-so-patiently for Revell's Merc woody wagon.
  6. It's shipping now from various distributors. Look for it in hobby shops sometime soon.
  7. Very cool! I have one in the box that I've gone back and forth with. I've finally decided on using a flathead, and I'll try not to make mine look like yours.
  8. He he he. Join the club. BTW, the Yimmy Flintstone '53 Ford station wagon body is VERY nicely done, although you'd need to fab some of the interior.
  9. I just bought one. Thanks for the heads up!
  10. My creative inspiration disappears when involved with this Russian spirit...
  11. Are the windows flush fit, or inserted from the inside?
  12. The jars were discontinued some time ago, replaced by the assortment display. The Carnuba wax you bought will work just fine. I've been using it for years, and I think it's better than the old "Treatment" wax.
  13. That may have been the clear up top from AMT's '37 Chevy convert.
  14. M-80's! When I was a kid, I stuffed an M-80 into the window of a built '49 Ford coupe (I had to flatten the M-80 somewhat). Then I carefully placed it in a metal trash can (remember those?), lit the extended fuse, put the lid on the can and stepped way back. When the firecracker went off, it blew the lid off the can. That '49 Ford was obliterated!
  15. It does have an up top! Hooray!
  16. Recently? I was in the process of (trying) to strip the paint from a resin seat I bought from Drag City Casting. I dropped the seat in fresh 91% alcohol and let it fester for a bit. When I checked on it the next day (!), the seat had twisted into something totally useless. My Bad! My Stupid! I won't even mention stories about trying to use the old Auto World "Cutter"! Talk about melt!
  17. Hmmmm. A thread about the timeliness of MCM has just been turned into something else.
  18. Check out Jimmy's '53 Ford wagon (NB170)! The one I bought is first rate, and just about perfect. WOW! Just WOW!
  19. It's close enough, and now I know what to start with! Thanks!
  20. That's me also. My basement is where the model building area is located, although I seem to mess around more than actually getting anything completed. My house has become more of a project here of late.
  21. Bingo! Maybe lose the whole cover month thing and go by issue number? The Rodders Journal has been doing that since its inception in the mid-nineties.
  22. Thank you! The latest issue of MCM arrives when it does. It's never been a huge deal for me, and I enjoy every issue. Lighten up people! It's not a big deal! Build something in between your MCM magazine arrival. It's what Gregg, Harry and the rest of the staff wants you to do!
  23. How did you build the interior portion? Do you have pictures?
