  1. In my circumstance, the Cub Scouts come to mind. Particularly Pinewood Derby time. VERY few pinewood cars were actually built by the young Cub, and it was obvious to all. And overlooked by all. Some of those little cars had gorgeous paint and graphics.
  2. Sill lookin' good! I have a couple of built-ups in my stash. Gotta get to them one day.
  3. Delete the post Harry. It won't happen again.
  4. Probably, but I don't frequent the other forum. I like this one better. More democracy here, less over there.
  5. Here's my box art build from around 1990. Not a fun kit to build, but I painted and assembled three of them in short order. The glass is airbrushed and the chrome was heavily airbrushed. The image is from an eBay seller.
  6. Show some respect! Hat off!
  7. Very nice! Great mash up!
  8. Hats off to Tim Boyd for his outstanding build of a multi-media Model A hot rod in that "other" model car magazine's October issue ! What a great read!
  9. Any progress on your house hunt?
  10. POW! Right outta the park! Remarkable work!
  11. I was told by someone at Revell that a '40 Ford wagon almost happened, except that sales on their '40 convert and coupe weren't what they thought they'd be. A shame.
  12. Yeah! My vote, based on Revell's new tool '57 Ford kit. Or a '57 Chevy Hanyman wagon, also based on Revell's endless, new tool '57 kits.
  13. I'd like to see Revell offer a '57 Ford wagon based on their new tool '57 Ford kit, and a '57 Chevy Handyman wagon. Both two doors.
  14. AMT's '34 Ford three window coupe. I eagerly awaited the release of that kit back in 1977, and when I finally got my hands on one, disappointed would be an understatement! The kit was pure cr*p! I have to wonder what went wrong in the mock up and tooling process?
  15. Very nice! Looks like the home was recently renovated, which is always a big plus! Congratulations!
  16. WOW! Just gorgeous!
  17. Good Grief! That's just gorgeous! May I have it?
  18. WOW! Looks like a Gas Monkey Garage save on an Olds, but yours is much better!
  19. Very cool, and the color works really well!
  20. It has a late July release date. Some shops having the RPP program will have it in advance of distribution.
  21. How do the First Gear cars compare to the old Franklin Mint or Danbury Mint cars and trucks (aside from scale)?
