It's hard to see in the photos but a coat of TS-13 Clear really makes the yellow pop ! More to come !

Since I've been restoring early Monogram kits I figured now was a good time to build one right out of the box with virgin plastic , and it will look great on the shelf next to the Boss A Bone I finished a while back ! This SweeTee is an unbuilt survivor I bought back when it was first released and have managed to hold onto along with a couple dozen or so other kits . This will be built straight out of the box with just a bit of detailing so it should go together pretty quick . First task was to glue the engine halves together , then sand and polish the main parts . The sanding and polishing sticks make quick work of this . I made some quickie decals for the tailgate and the radiator shell .

I'm even slow replying to your post , sorry Gerald . I see it every day and still want to finish it but just don't know when that will be . I'm not giving up yet !

Good looking conversion ! Modifying a 2 door into a 4 door isn't an easy job by any means , you've done a great job ! Your BMF is okay too . It takes practice , practice , and more practice . Even guys who have been doing it for years are still practicing !

Harry built antique (early 1900's) brass era cars almost exclusively , why not do a CB of those cars to honor him ? Smaller scale of course .

I understand completely how you feel Ray , as I've felt the same way for more than a year now . Can't really point to one thing that has caused it but many of the same things you have mentioned have slowed my building down to almost nothing . I still like looking and I still buy kits , but when it comes time to sit down and build something the passion just isn't there anymore . Very hard to explain to somebody who hasn't been there . Insert a #11 blade between the sticker and the paper , then slide the blade around the circumference to release it from the paper . With the sticker still attached to the tip of the blade center it over your tire and very lightly press it in one spot only , being careful not to distort the shape . If it's not centered you can carefully lift the sticker back off of the tire and try again . Removing the sticker is not quite as easy as it sounds so hopefully you won't have to do it more than once .When it looks good press the entire sticker down and it's permanent .
