  1. The last item before final assembly is the interior . The box art shows yellow seats with black inserts so they were painted with a white base before more yellow was mixed to match . The rest of the interior was left black . See you Under Glass !
  2. The way the wheels attach to the suspension has been bugging me , just a small stud going into a hole in the wheel is very flimsy and not very strong , so I decided to remove the spokes from the inner wheels and glue them directly to the backing plates . This is much stronger and looks much better . It also improved the look of the wheels , the spokes look thinner and cleaner !
  3. Thanks , the new yellow makes a big difference in the overall look . The kit has some really nice big slicks . I sanded them and cut the grooves myself .
  4. Thanks Dave !
  5. Beautiful build , absolutely stunning ! One of my favorites too .
  6. Very cool ! Maybe my favorite TD , of course I've owned a few 60 Chevys over the years .
  7. Great build , 57's make great looking Gassers !
  8. Very cool !! I've got one on the works to go with my Little Deuce too .
  9. Engine is installed in chassis , along with the wheels and tires . Goodyear decals are from Chief Joseph , very nice !
  10. Thanks bigdrag !
  11. Lots of great info in this thread ! I really like your mods to the wheels , they look great !
  12. Great looking paint , sort of a cranberry color ?
  13. Super job ! It looks good with those wheels and tires !
  14. Nice one David ! I like the wire mesh in the back doors and on top !
  15. After painting the yellow trim it was obvious that the color wasn't even close to matching , so I used some acrylic craft paints and mixed a yellow that's closer to the plastic color . Here's the engine with the new yellow details . I also opened up the ends of the headers .
  16. Yep it's got the turtle deck , the oval gas tank , and the headers . . . although the headers have been shortened with an angle cut on the end .
  17. Thanks Gary !
  18. Excellent craftsmanship , over the top detailing , and absolutely the most beautiful Raiders Coach ever built !
  19. Moving right along , the engine and chassis are coming together . Even after building a few of these those suspension pieces still can be frustrating , especially with these old fingers !
  20. Yeah . . . as a kid I probably saw all those fiddly suspension parts and closed the box !
  21. Good luck , they go for $100+ if you can find one ! That finished one that's posted isn't mine .
  22. Self portrait , Tom did the box art . Thanks !
  23. It's definitely got the look from that time period . And I've got a few but they seem to be happy here .
  24. Thanks ! It will be straight out of the box only adding the decals .
  25. Thanks Jim ! This is the first reincarnation of the 1964 Little "T" kit .
