  1. Great looking paint , sort of a cranberry color ?
  2. Super job ! It looks good with those wheels and tires !
  3. Nice one David ! I like the wire mesh in the back doors and on top !
  4. After painting the yellow trim it was obvious that the color wasn't even close to matching , so I used some acrylic craft paints and mixed a yellow that's closer to the plastic color . Here's the engine with the new yellow details . I also opened up the ends of the headers .
  5. Yep it's got the turtle deck , the oval gas tank , and the headers . . . although the headers have been shortened with an angle cut on the end .
  6. Thanks Gary !
  7. Excellent craftsmanship , over the top detailing , and absolutely the most beautiful Raiders Coach ever built !
  8. Moving right along , the engine and chassis are coming together . Even after building a few of these those suspension pieces still can be frustrating , especially with these old fingers !
  9. Yeah . . . as a kid I probably saw all those fiddly suspension parts and closed the box !
  10. Good luck , they go for $100+ if you can find one ! That finished one that's posted isn't mine .
  11. Self portrait , Tom did the box art . Thanks !
  12. It's definitely got the look from that time period . And I've got a few but they seem to be happy here .
  13. Thanks ! It will be straight out of the box only adding the decals .
  14. Thanks Jim ! This is the first reincarnation of the 1964 Little "T" kit .
  15. Thanks Pat !
  16. Thanks ! Thank you !
  17. Nicely done so far SFD ! The Bright Teal is a great color !
  18. It's hard to see in the photos but a coat of TS-13 Clear really makes the yellow pop ! More to come !
  19. Since I've been restoring early Monogram kits I figured now was a good time to build one right out of the box with virgin plastic , and it will look great on the shelf next to the Boss A Bone I finished a while back ! This SweeTee is an unbuilt survivor I bought back when it was first released and have managed to hold onto along with a couple dozen or so other kits . This will be built straight out of the box with just a bit of detailing so it should go together pretty quick . First task was to glue the engine halves together , then sand and polish the main parts . The sanding and polishing sticks make quick work of this . I made some quickie decals for the tailgate and the radiator shell .
  20. I'm even slow replying to your post , sorry Gerald . I see it every day and still want to finish it but just don't know when that will be . I'm not giving up yet !
  21. Niiiice ! One of GM's better designs .
  22. Good looking conversion ! Modifying a 2 door into a 4 door isn't an easy job by any means , you've done a great job ! Your BMF is okay too . It takes practice , practice , and more practice . Even guys who have been doing it for years are still practicing !
  23. Great job on Leeroy's Cyclone ! And of course those group shots are awesome !
  24. Harry built antique (early 1900's) brass era cars almost exclusively , why not do a CB of those cars to honor him ? Smaller scale of course .
  25. Excellent job ! The T-Bolt chassis looks perfect and I agree that the teardrop hood looks really good on this !
