  1. With the reissue due out in a few months I decided it was time to restore one I've had rattling around in a box for years . It's completely box stock except for some plug wires and home made decals . Now I have a stock build to display next to the heavily modified reissue I have planned . This is what I started with . The body was cleaned , polished , and cleared . I detailed the engine . And printed some duplicates of the original decals .
  2. The Good Stuff was Jim's company name .
  3. His name is Jim Johnson and he stopped selling a couple of years ago . Last conversation I had with him he has no desire to start up again .

    I'm very jealous , that's a great collection !
  5. Received mine a couple of days ago . . . very nice !
  6. NICE !!
  7. Beautiful build and absolutely awesome detailing ! So many great details to marvel at but the one that struck me is the radiator , very realistic right down to the solder on the top tank !
  8. Very very cool build Bernard , one of your best ! I enjoyed following the build too , I always learn a thing or two .
  9. Excellent work and a very cool color ! Using parts from the Torino GT is definitely the way to build one of these .
  10. You should be happy with it , it turned out great !
  11. Wouldn't it be worth paying the $59.99 to access and copy all of your photos to your computer ? When you're done close the account .

Very nicely done , the colors look great ! Welcome back to the exciting world of model building , carpet monsters and all !
  13. I went to the main site to order a T-Shirt and when I click on "add to cart" it sends me to my own PPal account instead of to your Paypal me link . What am I missing ?
  14. Thanks very much Bernard ! The paint color is actually one reason it sat on my bench for more than a year .
  15. Thanks guys ! It was a fun build !
  16. Wow it looks great with the top you grafted to it , great job ! And gorgeous paint as always .
  17. Excellent ! Don't see enough of these and yours is a great example with beautiful paint and lots of detailing . Would love to see more pics of the engine !
  18. Beautifully done ! Great color and detailing , and the houndstooth interior is the icing on the cake !
  19. Thanks ! The windows in my kit were molded in black plastic so I had no choice , and the flames are made from translucent modeling clay . For the smoke I tried a dozen or more different products until I settled on what you see here . . . still need a bit of practice .
  20. Thanks much guys ! I never know how these kind of builds will be received when I post them , lots of people see them as toys not models .
  21. Started this Polar lights kit more than a year ago but it got pushed aside . Last month I came up with an idea and started playing around with it again . These are really simple snap kits , but with a little bit of detailing they display nicely . Hope you like it !
  22. Beautifully done Dave , nothing wrong with a clone that looks that good ! And your colors do look spot on !
