  1. Thank You Rich !
  2. Thanks Ray !
  3. Released by Revell in 1972 this was another version of the Tweedy Pie with different wheels and tires and wild decals ! My build is basically box stock with some added details like a MAD distributor , fuel lines , brake lines , and a brass grille insert . I also used rear tires from my parts box instead of the toyish ones in the kit . Comments and suggestions are welcome . . . thanks for looking !
  4. Very Nice !
  5. I have a book titled "American Road Race Specials" with a good article on this car . Your model looks exactly like the real thing !!! Congrats on a great build !
  6. I just finished this a few days ago !
  7. I agree ! I love those old AMT kits . . . you should show them off a little more !
  8. Simply amazing ! ! Of course all of your builds are amazing . . . thanks for sharing these with us !

I like them that way too . . . very very nice ! ! You can be proud of such a beautiful build .
  10. Another nice one ! I love these kits , I've got them all but haven't built them yet .
  11. That's pretty cool !! Love the colors and the decals I've seen those decals before , where are they from ?
  12. Looks pretty good to me Ray , but I know how you feel when a build doesn't turn out the way you wanted . . . been there many times ! I agree with you about the M.A.D. distributors . . . only ones I will ever buy !
  13. Now that's pretty cool ! It took a lot of imagination to come up with that , good job !
  14. There it is ! Great looking tow vehicle Phillip ! Really nice job converting a big ol' Caddy . That 540K on the hook looks pretty nice too !
  15. Nice looking Camaro and a really nice color ! I use an old Kodak all the time and they work fine . Don't use the " zoom " to the max , it will cause the image to blur like that . just move closer to the model and rest the camera on a solid object . Easyshare cameras don't have a Macro setting but some have a close up setting , again don't get too close or it will blur . Real close "close up" photos don't always look very good anyway !
  16. Looks really really nice Richard , and is a great start to the Class of '56 ! Paint , interior , and the BMF all look great , and I like your idea for making taillights ( I'll remember that ) ! Also , making the antennas that way is the only way to go . . . I did it on my El Camino build and will never use plastic "kit" antenna again !
  17. Great looking Hemi Dart ! Like it just came off the truck ! And the trunk looks just fine .
  18. This is really nice ! It looks even better with the box in the photo !
  19. That is a beautiful Thunderbird ! Very clean and nicely done .
  20. Great looking pickup ! Really cool color.
  21. Welcome Bobby ! Just saw your post in Under Glass and realized I hadn't formally welcomed you to the forum . . . I hope you hang around a while and enjoy the eye candy !
