  1. Beautiful ! It looks good in white with the blue accents in the interior .
  2. Beautiful little "T" ! Great color choice and very nicely done !
  3. Great looking Caballero ! Your trim work on the sides looks right on . I agree with you that it's more car than truck and should be allowed here , but there are some who don't agree . It will be moved .
  4. I've got the second one that you show , the "Super Trick Classic" . I bought it in '77 but I'm not sure if that's when it was issued . It's still unbuilt but I might get to it one of these days .
  5. Beautiful looking Chevelle ! I love the color and your detailing . I guess I'm "old school" but I even like the look of the wheels and tires !

    What everyone else said . . . it's beautiful !
  7. Not exactly my style but it's a great looking model ! You've done some excellent work there .

    Now that's really sharp ! I like the changes you've made , wheels , tires , engine , and beautiful paint !
  9. The door and windows look similar to some of the Diablo kits from the 90's but not exactly . And the wheel openings look more truck like . I worked in the kit car industry for 20 years and never saw anything like this !
  10. Very nice and a perfect color ! I'm not sure there should be chrome trim around the windows , it was probably just a rubber seal .
  11. I like how you narrowed the rear of the chassis . Excellent work !
  12. Great restoration Ron ! Another beautiful model .
  13. Thanks Chuck !
  14. Beautiful build Bobby ! Those Tom Daniel kits really are pretty nice .
  15. Wow !! Another beautiful build for your collection and one of my favorites of all time ! One day you'll have to take a "group" shot of your cars , it would be really sharp .
  16. Welcome back and congrats on your second build ! It looks pretty darned good to me . . . beautiful paint and nicely detailed ! A lot of us here built models back in the 60's and just recently started building again so you have a lot of company . Lots of new stuff to try . For starters I suggest some Black Wash and some BMF , not for this build but for future ones . The wash is a must for bringing out the details in grilles and wheels , and the BMF takes some practice but you will never paint window trim again !
  17. Thanks guys ! I appreciate the comments .
  18. Lookin' good ! Nice job on the conversion from coupe to convertible .
  19. Beautiful ! You can't go wrong with a Midnight Blue '57 with slotted mags ! Nice job finishing the build , your friend would be proud .
  20. One of my favorite Impalas of all time . You did a beautiful job and it looks perfect in Bahama Blue ! What kind of clear did you use ? Every one I've tried dulls the BMF .
  21. Now I remember . . . if you had said the "Gold" Monte Carlo I would have known right away . I have one of those and a clear one stashed , never figured out what to do with them ! I like what you've done , it's very sharp looking !
  22. Thanks very much Skip and I apologize for not answering sooner . You're right about those two piece tires , they are absolutely awful ! I got lucky and found a set of Goodyears that are the same size as the kit tires and they are a definite improvement . Speaking of the movie being released about the same time , I was playing around and came up with this photo . What do you think ?
  23. That's pretty impressive ! I've got that kit and a couple of the other engine kits and never realized they could look that good with just a little extra work . Great job !
  24. Maybe there is a way to link the file here . I bet Casey can help you out .
