  1. The trick to body work is to take your time and go slow. Lots of sanding and lots of patience. Once I think its close to perfect ill go back and prime the body and see where there is still flaws. The trucj is looking good though!
  2. I used gray primer, which is why it looks almost silver, but its alright with me as I like the silvee color as well. I had no intrest in the waverider and it and the trailer are traded already
  3. I love the engine in this kit!!! Nice details and and paint. all around a great model!!
  4. The 72 Cheyenne Fleetside! Been after that one for ALONG time, just cant seem to get a good deal on one unfortunatly.
  5. i like the 5 spoke mags, but they may cahnge upon the color choices. Gonna be sweet!
  6. this is just a quick pretty much box stock build. Theres alot of pictures so be preppared! lol. First off i cut off the ugly body skirts that came in the custom silverado and waverider boat. and i also recently cut off the trim and shaved the door handles. but thats all thats been done to this one so far. pics: and the color: had a mishap on the body, but heres the hood and tailgate painted. you can see on the first picture with the box behind it all of the body work ive done,
  7. Well ive got all of the walls built. and mocked them up using clamps so there straight. Stilll need tto figure out how i want to do the concrete and asphalt. Heres the pictures: Thanks for looking!!!
  8. I do it from photobucket on a cheapy 50 dollar android phone thays on crack(broken screen) yet alone an iPhone. If a cheapy android has an app for it I'm 95% sure the apple store has one.
  9. yeah not that i dont understnd why they are moving them, but its On the bench right? The truck looks good by the way!
  10. School, but the main one; MY IMAGINATION!
  11. Once my airbrush is fixed i would be willing to do it(will be fixed next week sometime), for price of paint and shipping there and back. And as fatkidd stated "1) cut out a butt load of the leaf pattern and stick those on the car and paint away. wait until paint dries, peel leaf patterns off and there ya go. 2) cut out a single leaf and use that as your moveable stencil. Spray through it and you have your leaf...repeat as desired. I can make a stencil and get the sprayed over look by making a butt load of stencils and that would achieve the look your wanting or i could make one stencil and do it that way but you wouldnt get the sprayed over look that fatkidd described. PM me if your intrested.
  12. I usually have 3 or 4, but if i have them all out at teh same time, then the mind gets going and 3 or 4 wip's become 1 or two wip's.
  13. I will be covering the outside woth either brick or a styrene sheet woth a vinyl siding design. As far as the inside goes I might do a covering on the inside of the garage itslef, but the office will have some sort of covering. Thanks.
  14. Got some more done, just not to much. The front wall is done along with the base being cut. Base is 30x30. Heres the pcs: Plenty of room for a car or truck even with a dually or crew cab truck. Now the next question, what it the best way to replicate concrete on the wood surface? Now i do have an airbrush so weathering and painting it wouldnt be a problem and the wood is already sanded. So thats my question. Thanks for looking.
  15. Got 3 walls of 7 togther today. sorry about the clamp in the way of the picture. had to reglue one of the pieces of basswood.
  16. I've got that same problem but I do sleep well its just sometimes at the bench itself not my comfy bed. Like tonight I started a new chevy mild custom and stayed up until noe from about. 7 this morning and hve to be back up at 7 this morning to go work for a couple hours Out on the farm. Then ill be right back to the modeling table
  17. SWEET! Whered you get the hood pins from?
  18. If i can round up the wide whites and steelies they will be getting used. These are peerly for ock up at the moment, but i do kind of like them if i werent to get the wheels and tires im wanting to use.
  19. Going to get some basswood tomorrow since its on sale, as the balsa was just way to flimsy! next question, whats the best way to glue basswood?
  20. Hey James, How did you make the edging around the garage doors? And I bought that same door off ebay that youve got on yours! Good work on the 4 post lift! Im strting my dio tomorrow as soon as i get some basswood because he balsa was just to flimsy!

I belive ive got a bed coming for it. this will be taking some time off the bench though as i get some stuff rounded up for a iormama im going to be doing. Also got some photo-etch from model car garge and this will be my first time using the photoetch parts. Thanks to my friend for the photo etch! (you know who you are!) Thanks for looking!
