  1. I got the Blue Bandito today. I think it's gonna be on my build list for 2015.
  2. LOL. "Try and do a good job". We've seen your work. We're sure you'll do fine. I certainly enjoy following your builds.
  3. I think it is MPC. The Carl Casper Telephone Booth T show rod. I remember my father building it in the late 60s or very early 70s. I don't think it's ever been reissued.
  4. I see the auto transporter coming back. They are pricey on e-bay.
  5. LOL! Also on I-80 between Walcott and Iowa City.
  6. Why was it called the Boomer Bucket in a previous release?
  7. I have my 2. Kinda reminds me of the Fruit Wagon. Box art is very cool.
  8. Back in the 70s we had big rig racing. Seeing those trucks go thru a tri-oval was awesome.
  9. The one for me? My avatar. 48 Ford Coupe built by Fatjack Robinson in the 80's. I've got the Perrys resin body, but I'm waiting to see if Revell will do a stock roof 48.
  10. Thanks guys. I'm continuing my 70s series with a 69 Nova. All the paint work is done, I need to find the right wheels. I'm thinking the Cragars and tires from the Baldwin Motion Camaro. Maybe the sidepipes as well.
  11. Thanks Snake. I can recommend an awesome website if you've not seen it. 70s streetmachines.tumbler.com .I get a lot of ideas here and a great flashback to high school. Growing up in the 70s was awesome.
  12. Thanks for all the kind words guys. Harry, you are a heck of a motivator.
  13. Thanks for the kind words fellas.
  14. Harry, I've tried to do the foil bit, That is a skill I haven't been able to master. I've followed all the tutorials I've found but I just can't get it. What I do is highlight the window trim with a black sharpie. I like that contrast.
  15. I love FED's. That said, this kit was a bit of a challenge for me. The cowl does not come close to fitting correctly. I did a ton of filing just to get it to sit on the chassis. The hole for the steering shaft to come through was about 3mm too far back so I filled it and made it right. Still fun though.
  16. Just finished this morning, 66 GTO. Just like we would have seen in the 70's.
  17. Thank you for the info Gordon. Do you have more pics of it? What are your thoughts on this kit?
  18. LOL. Talk about coincidence. I ordered mine with the Buddy Baker Charger as well.
  19. I've sent an email to Mr. Wallace. I sure hope he responds.
  20. YES! That's it. Thanks for the help.
  21. Thank you James. I'll store that for reference. That's not what I'm looking for though. This dump trailer has a u shaped body. I believe it is a complete resin kit.
  22. I've seen pics at Classic Plastic this year of someones frameless dump trailer. I'm certain I've seen it on a website before, but I can't remember where. Any ideas?
  23. I've just opened mine. My frame, while not perfect, is not warped enough to warrant replacement. Box art is retro cool. Iron on transfer looks good. While there are a few differences with the Carl Casper Young America. They are still essentially the same kit. I just built the Young American this spring. The differences I see are the fuel tank. Garlits does not have an oil tank. Garlits does have the front wing and a somewhat different front axle. Even if you've built the Casper kit, If you like FEDs, you'll like this Garlits kit.
  24. Does anyone know how friendly the Revell 32 Ford frame will fit the Vickie body?
