Beautiful build and photography as always. I do have to ask though, is the steering linkage a flaw in the kit? The rod that runs from the front axle to the pitman arm, should that not be longer and perhaps run under the header?
Harry, Have you heard the death metal album of Bee Gee songs? I can't remember the name of it. I heard about it on a local radio station a couple years ago.
I have 2 of this kit. The box as you know is huge. It is completely full. It obviously can be built, but don't expect to do this in a weekend. LOL It's somewhat intimidating to see all those frets of nothing but guard railing. Have fun. BobbyT
Everyone has artistic ability. How each of us expresses it is up to us. Some do it with wood, some with an easel, some with food. Me, and all the folks here seem to use model cars to let that artistic stuff out. We're normal.
You've done a great job on this kit. I have to ask though, It looks to me the windshield is laid back too far, Is this an illusion created by camera angle, or is the kit itself flawed? I noticed that and I thought, that doesn't look quite right.
The alternator is for keeping the battery charged. This car does not appear to be running a magneto, the distributor that fires the plugs is getting voltage from the coil and battery. Hook up the battery charger between rounds.
