  1. Well said Ray, Thank You to all that have served, and for those that made the ultimate sacrifice. WE SALUTE YOU!!!
  2. Thanks guys, I've backed away from this project for a bit, while working on a couple of long stalled pro stock cars. Don't know what sparked it, but now that I've started I'd like to run with it.
  3. OK, well maybe not "covering"..but have you heard lawyers for the band Spirit, and guitarist Randy California are claiming Led Zepplin stole the music from their song "Taurus" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJUdnTKlP1E
  4. Nice build! I've always loved this Ohio George car. I built a version of this car using the reissued AMT Pro Street Mustang, and it didn't have the wheelie bars. Again, great job!
  5. It is funny...and sad. Just think if ya put it in the bank someone could embezzle it. Can you trust an investment firm? There is always someone trying to make an easy buck!! Hard to say who You can really trust when a large sum of money is involved.
  6. Hey how about another Led Zep cover???
  7. Oh Yeah, an artist can cover one of their own songs! Here's Todd, with Nazz doing a song he later had more success with as a solo artist Myself I prefer the Nazz version, but that's my take.
  8. Me Too!! OK, I can't remember someone else did a version of this song, right? https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=fleetwood+mac+black+magic+woman+studio+version
  9. Here's one that used to leave me scratching my head. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOR71yOHMek But, I did like both.
  10. I don't think I can post it, but remember when Steppenwolf covered Hoyt Axton's "The Pusher"? Or how about the cover of this Lou Reed song. Mott the Hoople also did a great version.
  11. Aerosmith covering The Yardbirds Led Zepplin covering The Yardbirds dazed and confused led zeppelin
  12. here's 2 in1 um, 5th floor please.
  13. I agree, I built that same Spooky car, and 2 Davey cars. His '89 Thunderbird and hi Mac Tools tbird. Another good 1 was Bill Elliott's Batman forever T-bird,....used the decals not the model since it was the wrong year.
  14. Oh BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH!! I haven't been in there for a while, and about a week or two weeks ago I wanted to go. Sorry to hear about this.
  15. DOUH!! I was hoping You could front me some.
  16. Hey maybe we could all try pooling our money together??
  17. Check this. http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/breaking/chi-portillos-hot-dogs-for-sale-20140430,0,904852.story
  18. Hey Guys!!! new "S" word for today....SALE, Portillo's chain is looking for a potential buyer.
  19. I'm working on replicating this car that I built about 15 years ago, in a diecast version.
  20. Selfishly I built this with the number 60, for my upcoming 60th BD. A little bit of creative license was used along with Dupli Color Mirage color shifting paint instead of black. After spending so much time sanding and buffing out the paint, it's hard to really see the finish. But,no Sir, there is no clear coat over the decals. Thanks for looking.
