  1. Ha Ha, that's what I did with it. I built it a while back as Davey's rookie car. That was before there was such a kit. Maybe You can help me out with something I might need, in trade?
  2. Hi Jeff, I have one from that kit, only thing is I had painted, and decaled it already. Still interested?
  3. Hey Oscar, both Mustangs are coming along really well. Just a suggestion, next time You're near Wally World, stop in and buy some cheap reader glasses. I'd be lost without my 2.5X magnification specs!
  4. Earl, that looks very cool!! There are always 1967 Eleanor's, but not many customized '69's. And I gonna guess the wheels are from 2006 Hertz??
  5. Ain't no 'thang, Mike....(I know, not the title again ) maybe You can nickname this build Maxheadroom??
  6. I think I would have tried doing it the way Ben mentioned. On the other hand Mike's way is more cost effective. Really Nice work there Mike, and great looking 1:1 too!! BTW, I like the topic line title.
  7. Looks awsum Ray!! Is that the Street Freak body?? I'm planning on doing a '67 Mustang gasser very soon, so Your build has got my motor revving!!
  8. I agree Erik, your interior looks great,Mister!!
  9. Hey thanks, that's Good to know Fred. Soon..( ) I'll starting an anniversary version too
  10. It's got me drooling! Roy
  11. I hope that works, I've been trying to get a '94 Revell GT chassis to fit under my AMT '88 GT. Roy
  12. Didn't mean to start anything. Just when it was pointed out that the block shouldn't be painted blue, I thought that the build was going to be as accurate as possible. Both the 1987 GT, and the 1993 LTD. LX convertibles I've owned had black painted pans. BTW, I like the color combo You're using, and I also really like the Titanium Frost Metallic color used on some of the LXs that I'd seen back in the '90's. Roy
  13. Hey Guys, shouldn't the oil pan be painted black also? Roy
  14. Hi MrMike, I just watched that episode about a week ago?? Anyhoo, that was one cool Belvidere!! I had the same thought..to do it in scale so I'll be living it vicariously through your build. Can't wait to see more. Roy
  15. In my opinion(who am I anyway), this is disappointing. But, think about the previous Revell Fox Mustangs.......So this is a step up. And after reading all these views, I'm inclined to believe that buyers shelling out roughly 30.00 dollars per kit should have some say it what they/we get for our money. If I had a Facebook account (my age is showing) I'd place a comment or two as well. Then it's up to Revell to make their play, right?
  16. Sorry, but i have to agree that no model is perfect. A few might be DARN good, but I think if You look hard enough you'd manage to find a flaw. Roy
  17. Nice job on completing of this build. When I first bought one of these early '90's Thunderbirds, I didn't like the way it was going together so I gave up and used it for parts. Roy
  18. Hi everybody! Here's a build I started a while back on another forum. it ended with what i think was a lack of interest, so it has sat in the box since. Recently I've been looking to see whats going on here, and I've decided to continue it. ....and where it's at now.
  19. Very nice Ken!! Love the color You used. A Great tribute, to a Great man. Roy
  20. That would be a good idea Brad, but my scratchbuilding skills are.."not so good lookin'"..lol Roy
  21. Jason, I'm looking to find a cowl hood for a GT-350 project that I'm working on. And it is in 1/25th scale. The search continues. Roy
  22. Hey Jason, about that hood, do You make one to fit the MPC 1984 GT-350 anniversary kit? I would most definitely be interested in one of those! Roy
  23. WOW!!! Those are very COOL Shelby twins. Roy
  24. The Saleen wheels would look great , keep in mind that the GT is 1/24th scale and the the Saleen is 1/25th scale. You can find resin Pony wheels on Ebay,in fact there is a set for auction running now. Roy
