  1. There are some Pep Boys specials there for sure. I think they believe the "if some is good than more are better " plan. I would be to embarresed to drive any of those "POS".
  2. Very nice paint job. I gotta get me one of those but I really want the coupe version.
  3. That builds up very nice. Good job !
  4. Wow ! Slick work.
  5. What a difference. That looks very good, much better.
  6. I really like what you guys have done with this kit. Now I have to get it. Does anyone know when the coupe is to be released ?
  7. I think the average I pay is about 7 to 8 bucks. Worth it to me if I can't get it locally. Some sellers charge more because they want to recoup their cost of buying shipping boxes and or packing material and their time and money for driving to wherever they ship from. Thats what some have told me when I have asked why they wanted more for shipping then I thought it would cost.
  8. I see they will be coming out with their dragster kit with a compeition coupe version. Lindberg being what it is I was wondering if these large dragster kits are worth building or are they toy like some of their kits are or have been. Anyone built one or know anything about them ? Worth buying ? Thanks.
  9. I buy a lot of my stuff off ebay. You can't beat the selection but some people do ask way too much for their stuff. You have to find fairly priced items without a high shipping price. There are bargins to be had.
  10. Wow ! What a great model this will be.
  11. I am always amazed with evey new photo. I have to remind myself that this is a model and not the real thing. I don't know how you do it but please keep the updates coming.
  12. That custom is beautiful.
  13. Very nice clean build.
  14. The red Cobra was built over forty (40) years ago. It was the first time I had tried making parts and doing some molding in. The front spoiler and rear spoiler and rear fender flairs were all molded in using the Testors putty. Strange that in over 40 years this putty has not cracked. The blue Cobra was built not too long ago and was built trying to replicate the original Cobra as it looks today. The 2 1/43 Cobras are a Ultimates Cobra and a resin 427 Cobra.
  15. Very nice, one of my favorite war birds.
  16. Really not all that much invested. I would say less than 4,000 bucks.
  17. Yes, there are several Daytona's in my collection but nowhere near as the AC cobras.
  18. See my newer posting " The rest of my Cobra collection" .
  19. That turned out great. Good job.
