  3. Thank you guys ! Yes, I tried to polish the yellowed windows.......... did not work. I have the windows in and they are now drying. Will try and put the finishing touches tomorrow. Just need to detail and assemble.
  4. Hang in there Carl buddy. Keep a good thought.
  5. Got this little Cobra painted, decaled and cleared. Still need to detail and assemble. Also need to try and cut out the headlight covers without messing them up.

  12. Thanks Snake, good to know. I ordered a set from Speed City Resin but this would be a good option if Speed City is as slow as Ma's Resin. 3 months and still waiting with no response to any of my emails asking when I might expect them. Never again.
  13. Thanks a lot guys. I will look into the ones at Speedcityresin. I think those would work well. You guys always have an answer ! Thanks again.
  14. Is/was there any 1/25 scale kit that came with a pair ? I need a set for a replica I am building for someone. Thanks !
  15. We also have a 2002 Focus that we bought new.............. same motor mount problem.
  16. Thanks guys. At least not doing the engine compartment so I'm gluing the hood shut. He has an LS engine in it which I don't have. Going to strap it down in a display case anyway.
  17. I think "Try too Hard" was my fav.
  18. I always liked the Dave Clark 5.
  19. Thank you very much !
  20. Thanks for the info.
  21. Fenders don't fit all that well but workable. Thanks for the info, wondered why they did that.
  22. For me, this will be a special build. It will be a replica of a car owned by a neighbor of my best friend in Illinois. I have never met this man but my friend speaks very highly of him. He is a Vietnam vet and is fighting cancer. In addition his wife has some health problems they are dealing with. Now I know a model is not going to fix anyone's problems but if it can just make him smile and be happy for a little while it will be well worth it. Later I will post photos of his car. I ordered a cowl hood from ebay as well as a Vette kit to get the right wheels. I have built this kit in the past and always wondered why they chose to do the fenders as separate pieces. Can't recall another kit they did this to.
  23. Bought this little 1/43 Starter Daytona kit on ebay. It had been partially done but not much. Windshield and rear window have yellowed but I guess I will have to live with that. Going to do it in red I think.
  24. This is one of the best topics ever ! IMO Cool toys. Beats the socks and underwear and PJ's I got . : )
