  1. I agree, nice looking model.
  2. Great looking model.
  3. Looks very nice. Having just finished a 1/43 kit I know the challenges of building these little kits.
  4. This is the display I am working on for the Nova.
  5. Thank you so much fellows.
  6. Great job !
  7. Very sharp. Love the front end .
  8. Nice ! As Richard would say " get you some of that " !
  9. Thanks guys ! Nearing final assembly so I need to be careful. That's normally where I run into trouble for some reason. : )
  10. I like what I see !
  11. Looks real nice.
  12. Just a little follow up . In addition to the tires I have been waiting for around 4 months. I also placed an order for some tires from Speed City Resin. Those arrived today. Less than 3 weeks. I can live with that and can recommend Speed City Resin.
  13. Great looking Goat !
  14. Woo Hoo ! The cheater slicks I ordered from Speed City Resin arrived today ! They performed well. Still waiting for the tires I ordered from the 'other" place. 4 months and counting.
  15. You have the best aftermarket distributors I believe and I will buy more of them as needed. I realize that all resin casters are not the same it may just be my bad luck in who I chose to deal with. Waiting 4 months for a set of tires is just plain ridiculous . A caster can't make one tire a month ! Actually waiting for tires from another caster but that has only been 3 weeks, so far. I bought the Cheetah kit from Modelhaus a while ago knowing it would be about 6 weeks up front. I knew in advance so I was happy to wait the 6 weeks and I did get the kit at just about the six week time line. I have not had a problem with your product or delivery time. Maybe I need to rethink my not buying anymore and look into what other items you offer. : )
  16. Looks great !
  17. Got some more done on the Nova but am now at a standstill waiting for some resin cheater slicks. Only going to wait about another week or so and then I will just mount some regular slicks on it. Won't be that noticeable anyway but I just would like it as close as possible to the mans car.
  18. Not a kit I would normally buy or build but I bought but I picked it up because I needed a set of cheater slicks for the Nova I am building. As I was told this kit has some I bought it just for them. This kit does indeed have 4 of them but they are way to narrow for my build. I am at a standstill on the Nova waiting for some resin cheater slicks. So while I wait I decided to go ahead and slap this thing together. I think I will do the roadster version since I never saw it built before.
  19. The car as far as I know is not a true Nickey Nova. It has a LS 3 engine I believe and has plenty of power.
  20. Not the best pics but here are a couple of the car I am trying to replicate. Have better pics but they seemed to have gone missing. Will ask for more.

I think it looks fine. Keep building.
  22. Ya know it's not only the waiting that bugs me but not having the courtesy to reply to any emails after the fact may be worse. A simple polite question to inquire when the parts will be shipped goes unanswered . Why ? Just respond and say " it will be a month " or "it will be 4 months " or even a " I have your money and you will get them when I am ready to make and send them but don't hold your breath ! " . No excuse not to respond to a customer.
  23. Hopefully this will not come off as nothing but whining but I am tired of waiting for resin parts. I understand that a lot of casters have other jobs and that this may be just a hobby or side line for them and I understand that they make stuff as they get orders in many cases and also it is the only way to get some hard to obtain parts. All the being said I still don't think you should wait for months to get a few items. Not all resin casters give the same service i am sure but it seems I pick out ones that at least in my opinion don't perform all that well. I am not going to mention any names but they know who they are. Your results may have been better than mine and I hope they were but unless I see something resin on the bay that are "in hand" I doubt I will be ordering from a resin caster again anytime soon. Thanks for letting me vent. : )
