Looks like the Vette was customized at one time with the 3 tail lights on each side instead of the 2.

Wrapped this one up today. It is a AMT 53 Vette body on a AMT 289 Cobra chassis. I had to stretch the Cobra frame a bit to match the wheelbase of the Vette. The Cobra stock engine ( way too narrow ) and chassis except for the stretching was used. The tires and wheels are from the parts box and I think were from the Foose 65 Impala kit. I cut down the windshield a little bit. The side pipes are from the parts box and were stripped of chrome and painted flat black. Roll bar is from the Cobra kit. The color is Light Grey Metallic and t he stripes were painted with red. Paint was all Testors. Any and all comments welcome pro or con.

This one is finished. Photo's will be in the "Under Glass" section later today if interested.

I remember when I was about 17 I put a Maltese cross sticker ( Known to me as a surfers cross ) on the gas door of my 62 Ford. When my dad saw it he blew up. Don't know if I ever saw him that mad. It was removed the same day. To him it meant a whole different thing.

Longest ride I ever took on a bicycle was from where I lived in OaK Lawn Ill. to a lake called Maple Lake. Not sure what the mileage was but my 2 friends were very tired when we got there. Stopped on the way back when we found a phone booth and called for a pick up. : )
