  1. Myself not being a great model builder still notice that many times people forget to either drill out the exhaust or at least paint them black on the ends to improve the looks. Also the inside portion of scoops are not treated to a black inside. The body vents below the windshield can always look better with a wash of the detailer. Lastly, detailing wipers can make a big difference. I have forgotten these things more times then I care to mention.
  2. Coming along nicely.
  3. Lookin' good !
  4. I don't smoke or drink and lead a simple life. My wallet is in sad shape. My purchase have been made over many years. If I had any "real" money I would have a Cobra ( replica ) in my garage.
  5. I do but have not seen that issue as of yet. Thanks for the heads up !
  6. very nice work.
  7. Looking great !
  8. Boy, you sure love your Smackdown don't you ? : ) Does watching it make you hostile ? : )
  9. Do you get the parts in the order you would need to do the build as you go ?
  10. Boy, would I love to have that. I don't know what it would cost but I do know I could not afford it !
  11. Looks great. Unless I miss my guess your front plate is always the same. What does it represent ? Maybe it's something I should know ????
  12. Looks great. I must put that kit on my need list.
  13. Wow ! Looks great Al .
  14. Those were neat looking cars.
  15. Nice !
  16. I remember someone asking if we thought it would be helpful but I never noticed if one has started.
  17. On model cars and supplies I think maybe a 100 a month give or take depending what I see and have to have. My other two hobbies are collecting miniature Cobra cars both AC and Daytona which is not too expensive ( at least the ones I buy ). My other hobby is shooting and gun collecting and that is where the bulk of my "extra" money goes. Can't say what I have invested in guns in case my wife might see this. : )
  18. Thanks Glenn, I will be putting baby moons on it.
  19. I feel your pain as the same thing happened to me about 2 weeks or so ago. That was a rough night. I was lucky and someone came out the next day ( Saturday ) and the fix was only 155 bucks. We just last week bought a home warranty. House is now almost 8 years old and I already had the water heater go and also the tank for our water softner system. Should have had the warranty then.
  20. Gotta be 120/130 in the garage during the heat of the day. Makes for very quick drying. : )
  21. Cool little ride.
