Model is done. Still need to finish the diorama it will be placed on. This model may not be painted in the camo they would have used but it is the way I wanted it. Saw one photo that was somewhat like it but not quite.

I think I'm a little tough on brakes. : )

Paint color looks good.

So last Wednesday I take my truck in for brakes. Needed new rotors as the old ones could not be cut. All said and done 500 bucks. That's ok, truck is a 2002 with 82,000 miles so no big deal. Today I go out to my garage and see water on the floor. That's not good. Water heater shot. New water heater at Home Depot 300.00 bucks. Installation of said water heater 250.00. Another 500 or so bucks gone. I hope I will still have some cash to go to the show and swap next month.

My irk today was self inflicted . So I took off to Hobby Lobby. Needed some paint and some supplies for the diorama I am working on. As you know the paint is locked up so I get someone to come open the case. I pick up the paints I needed and hand them to the girl. At my HL at least an worker must take the paint up to the register area. So I continue to shop for a bit and head up front. I pay and grab some lunch on the way home. I get home and eat my lunch and then it's time to do some painting. Go through my bags and think....... where's the paint ? Oh no ! I never told them at the register that I had paint brought up. Had to go back. My fault to be sure but it still irked me.

Glad to hear their parts are nice. Ordered their Cheetah kit the other day and I sure hope it is as nice as people say the parts are. 4 to 6 weeks to get is a bummer but hopefully worth the wait.
