  1. Great job on the intake and turbo. What sizes of styrene did you use to make the intake? That's exactly what I want to build for my 1:1 car, and I'm going to make one for my 1/25 scale too.
  2. Great job on the build so far. What size would you say the slicks that come with the kit equivalent to? I did the same thing, with the solder for the exhaust, on a Saleen Ranger that I built. It was perfect. How are you going to mount the exhaust to the rest of the model? I ended up using some wire and making hangers out of it, that I attached to the solder. I haven't had any issues with it since I put it together a few years ago.
  3. Wow!! I was following this one on the old build thread, but I rarely come on the site, so I didn't see this continuation. I'm absolutely blown away and can't wait to see the rest of it.
  4. Awesome, I'm looking forward to it and I'll be picking up a few for sure!!
  5. Still entertaining the thought of making a hatch back version?
  6. WHAT? No MUSTANG logo in the corner of the 1/4 windows?!?!! They must be aftermarket.
  7. I think the interior looks great. If you were going to do the same interior, but all black, which black(s) would you use? Instead of using the flat black to fog onto the seats, do you think a light fogging of a dark gray would work, with the black, to get the correct tweed look?
  8. That AOD fit's perfect. Which model would you guys suggest for a good T56? I'm assuming a Camaro?
  9. Very, very cool. That looks great. I can't wait to see your personal build continue and I hope you're still considering making a hatch version for us less talented type.
  10. I may see if I can get the magnum wheels and modify them. Then paint them with Alclad to give them the polished look. The Cobra wheels are just too different for me. Thanks for the suggestions though.
  11. Thanks. I've looked for diecast as well, but haven't had any luck in anything other than 1:18 scale. I'm VERY surprised that none of the companies have made that car yet.
  12. I've been looking for quite a while now trying to find some '03-'04 Cobra wheels to use on my Fox body build, but haven't had any luck. Here's a picture of my car. I would love to replicate it as is. Is there anyone out there making them out of resin?
  13. Great job!! I finally picked up one of these kits, that I planned to make a hatchback out of, to copy my 1:1 car. After seeing what you have done here, I'll probably just wait until it's ready to go and buy one of the resins. If you think you'll be able to get a hatch version done, I will ABSOLUTELY wait for it!!
  14. Ok Dave, I know this wasn't in your original plans, but how much cooler would this Camaro be if you built the engine like this?!! C'mon, I know you can do it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53Xww-J3igE&feature=related
  15. That looks fantastic!! Does Mike Hill know that you're building this? I'm sure he would love to see all of this if he isn't watching it already.
  16. That's a plumbing nightmare on the full scale version. I can't even imagine what it's going to be like in 1/8th scale.
  17. I was anxious to see what you were going to do with the intake. Nice work!!
