  1. What resin are you using to print with? I've started using the Anycubic ABS like resin Pro 2 and it's much stronger than other resins I've worked with.
  2. I like the idea of the low lights on the new design. What do you think about putting them on the other side of the car as well? That way if you ever take it to a show or have any kind of 360 degree visibility, it will be even all the way around. The best part about having the lighting inside of the plexiglass is that when the room around it is dark, then you won't see as much of a reflection.
  3. Sooo good! Does the switch for the cube he is holding also control the blue thing in the trunk?
  4. I love the display. Are you going to have a mirror in the base of it to show off the bottom of the car?
  5. That's awesome! Perfect touch to go along with the car.
  6. Very cool! I love the printed parts and what that allows us to be able to do now.
  7. Very cool. I'll be following this one.
  8. Very well done. An excellent example for people that try to say that you need top level equipment to get great images. Knowing how to use the equipment is almost always more important than the equipment itself.
  9. Martin, What photo equipment do you shoot with?
  10. Great build so far. I love how you have some "actual" u joints holding the driveshaft in place.
  11. Just like everything else you build, this one is fantastic Martin. I've been following your work on IG for quite a while now (I'm KWSimages on there), and you are the reason I bought a Mars3. I've finally had a chance to start learning Fusion360, and have been able to replicate the '03 Cobra wheels and tires that are on my '91 Mustang, so I can actually build a scale version. I've learned a LOT just by looking through your posts and responses, and I very much look forward to learning more in the future. Next up for me is taking the time to replicate the twin turbo kit I built for my 1:1 car. ? Keep up the good work!
  12. Very cool project Marcos! I've enjoyed looking through the entire thread just now.?
  13. Both of them are looking fantastic Jim! Just curious, but what did you have your layer height set to when you printed the steering wheel? I've recently been messing with the settings on my Mars 3 and dropped the layer height from .05mm to .01mm and it was a very noticeable difference in the smoothness of the fine details (in my case it was the sidewall of a tire I made).
  14. Fantastic news! I am still very much interested in buying a couple hatch versions once they are available.
  15. I completely ok with you not being human. I just hope the government never sees what you're doing here, or else they're going to lock you up in area 51, and then we'll never get to see this project finished!
  16. Greg, I can't wait to get this thing in hand. I've been looking forward to it for a long time. Keep up the good work.
  17. It looks fantastic!
  18. I had asked that earlier and he said yes, he was planning on painting it. I think he should just paint it with a clear coat!
  19. Looking good.
  20. Woooo Hoooo...I can't wait to watch the rest of this, and then be able to have one (or two) for myself!
  21. This is looking better all the time. What are you going to do for the overall look? Will it be painted, leave it all brass, or something else?
