I don't have one of those. I plan to use etch primer and tamiya gloss aluminium. I'm going to give the perimeter of the doors a very light going over. Cheers.

I will have to get another DM800 mad paystar mixer just for this....
Hopefully they just re release it. Obviously have the parts trees for it to happen.

Hi fellas. I've started this. THe chassis went together well, the body needed very little clean up. Parts fit so far is great. I usually build trucks but I love sports cars. Cheers.

I've started it. All I've done is build the frame, prep some of the body work, fuel tank, and engine block. The parts fit is great. The mould seem lines weren't too bad. Cheers.
I'll put pics up Friday when I hopefully have some paint on it.

I was told other race cars from that era may be released as well. This should sell well. He (I'm terrible with names)seems like a great person. He gave advice of what paints to use as well. Had a talk about the tamiya sl300 gullwing. He's still waiting for his.

It costs a lot of money to tool a new kit. I spoke to the owner today and the money he has spent on this blew me away. It looks as though you want need to add any extras as the kit is complete. Engines wiring etc. so the cost might be reasonable when taking all the detail into account.

Hi fellas,
Southern Cross Minitures are releasing a multi media kit this year. Looking at the pics on their Facebook page, it looks promising for any pre ww2 race car fans. https://www.facebook.com/southernxmin
Cheers.

We never had Brockways in Australia. Australian Mack superliners had r series chassis rails with an extra drop down section at the front. The same rails were on the mack titan. Australia kept the r series chassis rails until the mack trident, hence chr and clr indicating the chassis rails. The mack b61 and superliner are probably Mack's most successful trucks in Australia. Did Brockways share many components with Mack apart from the obvious cab? Cheers.

The engine is an accurate e9 mack, the gearbox and bell housing are not mack. Get the e9, mack gearbox and rear suspension from auslowe. Can't go wrong and a lot cheaper than buying multiple kits to make an accurate mack superliner.
I believe the frame is accurate for some versions of mack b61. The chassis appears to flare a bit at the front as per the pics I've seen. The first her b61 mack chassis flares also.
