  1. Australia uses a variety of trucks European and American based. There is a lot of distance between fuel stops at times, hence all the fuel tanks. Google "australian road train" and see some truly massive outfits. Cheers. Ben
  2. I wish I had more bench time. Study and work come forst unfortunately. Great subjects coming our way. I'm a bit disappointed with no new trucks. Awaiting the Drake Kenworth K200 and swing wing low loader. Hopefully car people are happy. Ben
  3. Wow. The BMW i8 and Porsche 918 variants look awesome. I reckon the wheels look improved from previous revell offerings. Cheers. Ben
  4. Hi fellas. This is what I'm working on. It's an Auslowe T904 conversion that uses a Moebius Lonestar as the base kit. Cheers. Ben The real truck: What I've done so far:
  5. This is awesome. I was surprised that a modern car wasn't done. That being said, this looks so much more builder friendly than the LaFerrari. Ben
  6. What did you use to extend the chassis? Thanks in advance. Ben
  7. It's almost that now. I got underneath a Titan recently and even it's crossmembers looked awfully volvo like. The cab is really the only true mack thing left.
  8. Organic interface failure....
  9. Very nice work. Ben
  10. I copied the link from my eBay. It's from the USA. Maybe they hope they'll trap someone. Ben
  11. Very nice. Glad to see some. Ben
  12. eBay has some ridiculous prices in there lately. A recently released california hauler for over $120. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AMT866-AMT-Peterbilt-359-California-Hauler-Conventional-For-/331450750354?pt=AU_Toys_Hobbies_Model_Kits&hash=item4d2c011592 Just a start. But plenty of other stuff on there way over priced. Ben
  13. I'm surprised no one has done a harley conversion kit. There is little harley shaped decals in Revell's version of the lonestar. Ben
  14. Paint work. Either I stuff it up or can't get to paint models due weather or the shed is being used. Ben
  15. Maybe we should use the decals as a template? That might work.
  16. Hi fellas. I tested tamiya ts 7 racing white. It's close but its about 1 shade lighter than the decals. I plan on using it because I don't always have access to an airbrush, plus trying to mix that colour would be a nightmare as I don't have access to a wide range of paints either. Cheers. Ben
  17. Depends if I stuff it up. Won't get finished if I damage it too much. Ben
  18. I reckon this car has got potential to give the McLaren P1, Porsche 918 and LaFerrari a run for their money. I just love cars that perform. Function dictates form is what I think is happening in general. Ben
  19. I know this is a truck post and I mainly model trucks, but the odd thing did come true for car people. I'm stoked about the porsche 918 for one. I don't mind the idea of the BMW i8 as well. Would really have loved a new Mack or Kenworth. The marmon is such a waste of good plastic. I would have rather seen the KW T600. Cheers. Ben
  20. The decals definitely look more cream than white. I plan to build mine with tamiya racing white roof if it matches the decals and ts8 Italian red for all the red on it. Cheers Ben
