  1. Hi fellas. I tested tamiya ts 7 racing white. It's close but its about 1 shade lighter than the decals. I plan on using it because I don't always have access to an airbrush, plus trying to mix that colour would be a nightmare as I don't have access to a wide range of paints either. Cheers. Ben
  2. Depends if I stuff it up. Won't get finished if I damage it too much. Ben
  3. I reckon this car has got potential to give the McLaren P1, Porsche 918 and LaFerrari a run for their money. I just love cars that perform. Function dictates form is what I think is happening in general. Ben
  4. I know this is a truck post and I mainly model trucks, but the odd thing did come true for car people. I'm stoked about the porsche 918 for one. I don't mind the idea of the BMW i8 as well. Would really have loved a new Mack or Kenworth. The marmon is such a waste of good plastic. I would have rather seen the KW T600. Cheers. Ben
  5. The decals definitely look more cream than white. I plan to build mine with tamiya racing white roof if it matches the decals and ts8 Italian red for all the red on it. Cheers Ben
  6. I'm away for work right now. Might check it this week end. Cheers. Ben
  7. Very nice. Ben
  8. I'm looking at using tamiya racing white. I'm not sure if that's a complete match though. Ben
  9. This looks pretty cool to me. http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1096246_acura-nsx-the-legend-makes-return-at-2015-detroit-auto-show Cheers. Ben
  10. The jobs need someone who is passionate about bringing new, exciting subjects out. Hopefully they look at the revell make a wish list and do a few subjects from it. Ben
  11. I would have thought tamiya would have done the 918 by now. LaFerrari was great, but they have really been doing. More reissues or modified re issues recently apart from Laferrari and the 1/6 harley. Cheers. Ben
  12. How about the 919?
  13. Great work. Always look forward to updates. Ben
  14. I hope they get someone who'll do a new truck kit. Ben
  15. Very nice. Excellent detail all over. Ben
  16. Cheers for this. Both kits seem to have positive and negatives. I like how revell included the main wiring that is viable on the real car. Both require a lot of body work though. And an airbrush would be ideal to paint them bot due to the complex curves. I've got a tamiya laferrari in wait. I kille the first ones body work trying to strip a paint boo boo. Cheers. Ben
  17. That's awesome! Plenty of people in here that would be good for this. Ben
  18. I've got the aventador coming already. Really looking forward to the lidar technology being used for hopefully 1/24 full detail car kits. Cheers. Ben
  19. Came across this: http://www.airfix.com/news/airfix-2015-ipms-scale-modelworld-announcement/ Maybe we will get some cars from this technology. Airfix is doing 3 more quickbuild cars, Bugatti Veyron, McLaren P1 and old school VW beetle. http://www.airfix.com/shop/new-for-2015/quick-build.html Cheers.
  20. The trucks got fairly high votes when compared to some cars that got released. I don't know how many votes the BMW i8 got but revell is doing that. Hopefully moebius does another truck. Hopefully the Drake KW K200 and low loader sell well so we can see more from them as well. Ben
  21. I was surprised Revell didn't do a new truck. They did a new fire engine but that's all as far as trucks. Maybe 2016 will be the year. Ben
  22. For car people, It's always best to have a car you're passionate about. More inclined to keep it clean and serviced. Cheers. Ben
