  1. Not much for truck people. Car people should be pretty happy though. http://www.revell-news.de/display.php?M=115371&C=137be8c35d0eaf99bf92c2d38c93657c&S=390&L=36&N=135 Cheers. Ben
  2. Yes! Porsche 918! BMW I8 is an interesting car in real life, unusual model choice but I'll probably get one. Ben
  3. I'd love to see some new stuff. I reckon the skoda octavia rs would sell. I'm biased though. The wife has one on order. Wagon TSI162 dsg, wagon blue, with 19" black pack. http://www.themotorreport.com.au/58476/2014-skoda-octavia-rs-review-162tsi-manual-sedan-135tdi-dsg-wagon I think any VAG vehicle would sell pretty well. Ben
  4. Awesome. Love the adapt and overcome attitude. Maybe you should do masters of parts in the future. Having the ability to see shapes in other stuff is awesome. Cheers. Ben
  5. Wow. This is where modelling is surely going. Ben
  6. The auslowe link in my previous post. Separate spiders and rims to make painting easier. I've got a set for my Mack fire engine. Also got a set to refurbish my 1/32 superliner. Ben
  7. This doesn't seem to be constructive anymore. Thanks Dave Metzner for sharing your craft, work and process with us. Ben
  8. Those tyres look great. Here is the auslowe page. Down the bottom. Separate spider from the rim. http://www.auslowe.com.au/index.php?page=shop.browse&category_id=21&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=27
  9. Very nice. Ben
  10. If you want spiders, auslowe makes great ones. Ben
  11. You're right Steve. I prefer the old days even though I'm youngish that the car you saw race on Sunday was the car you could buy in Monday. Cheers. Ben
  12. Not sure to be honest. Drake trailers is coming out in 2015 with a plastic assembly Truck and Lowloader in 1/24 (Kenworth K200 and Drake swing wing with dolly) They're already doing diecast in 1/50. Belkits from Belgium does 1/24 rally cars and look fairly nice and seem to be doing well. I really think it depends on the market. Trucks seem to sell fairly well in Australia. Drake is really testing the waters with their product, that will decide if they do more or not. Ben
  13. Very nice. Will probably get that vw and skoda. Ben
  14. I wasn't trying to burn you. I'm Australian and like Motorsport as well. You're right about the racing being exciting. Cheers. Ben
  15. Very nice work as usual. Ben
  16. I'd like phote etch badging or self adhesive chrome like in the tamiya kits. Just my opinion. I really love the lonestar and prostar. A few little things could be improved but they fit together nicely, and are completely new subjects. Moebius improved the instruction sheet for the prostar as well after feedback from the lonestar. It shows they really listen and definitely try to please customers. Ben
  17. Awesome truck, awesome wheels. Ben
  18. I'm liking the skoda and vw. Looking at getting the skoda as we've just ordered a skoda octavia rs wagon for the family car. Ben
  19. I would say Germany has a bigger market due to its population plus a little over flow due to interest in Motorsport in the rest of Europe as well. Ben
  20. I found some interesting looking current rally car models. They appear to be very well detailed apart from no engine. Come with photo etch and seat belt material. http://www.belkits.be/ Cheers Ben
  21. Thank you so much Dave. Thanks for taking the time to explain how things happen. I'm thankful that a modelling company is producing new stuff that I'm interested in. As soon as I seen the Lonestar in development I knew I would get a couple. Picking those lonestars up from the post office and cracking the box open was just awesome. I can't wait to see what's in store for truck (& car) modelers in the future. Cheers. Ben
  22. Very nice choice of colour. Ben
  23. Nice work. Great use for the LED. Ben
