  1. Hi fellas. Small update. Got some paint on the body. I'm going to polish it with tamiya polishing compounds. Cheers
  2. Nice work on the clear parts. I had paint dramas as well. Ben
  3. They all share technology. The MQB platform is the base for the golf (VW) octavia (Skoda) and a4 (Audi) and other cars within each manufacturer. Engine and driveline options are similar and sometimes the same. The octavia RS shares the driveline with the golf GTI. Probably right about the things such as sat Nav etc. Ben
  4. Sad but true. A least the engineering is living on in the Camaro. Ben
  5. Can't go wrong with anything Skoda. They're part of the VW Audi group. We're getting an octavia RS wagon this month. Ben
  6. When they box the 918, maybe they should include the parts for both versions. Maybe it would cost less rather than have 2 different boxes.

  15. Use a clean surface to lessen the tackyness of the tape such as a tile or piece of glass that is clean and dry of course. Ben
  16. Paint is my Achilles heel as well. I think black trim is suitable. My mate has one of these. I'm pretty sure his has black trim. Ben
  17. Very nice. Love the mack in the background. Ben
  18. Looks very nice. Ben
  19. I personally am not a big fan of the subject matter, but WOW! Separate door handles, and other features. I reckon it might build better than a tamiya kit. I hope they do another truck and maybe a modern car. im sure this has many fans anyway. I look forward to seeing it on the workbench in the forum. Cheers. Ben
  20. Very nice work. Hopefully the hand gets back to full ability. Cheers Ben
