To bring this thread back on topic, I was wondering if moebius was approached by navistar or moebius approached navistar to model their stuff? Also whether there has been talk (prelicencing) with other truck companies? I think that's more the question that people want answered now we know no licencing agreement existes with other companies.

Good luck. I just killed my tamiya laferrari using non acetone nail polish remover. I've learnt my lesson. Looking forward to hearing how your cab goes so I don't make another mistake.

Sorry to hear about your husband. I hope he gets back into truck building for the pleasure of building. I do a broad spectrum of hobbies/sports/activities (models, full contact karate/kickboxing/track days with my car) and I find all sorts of people everywhere. I hope he gets into a model truck and enjoys it. Cheers.
Also this is definitely one of the best forums. Where else do you get a major player like Moebius Models have a representative (Dave Metzner) come on line and let people know what's going on? It's pretty cool. Will be cool to see what else will come our way in the future.

Hi fellas. This build is over. I completely ruined the body work by trying to strip the paint. When I told my wife she giggled and said get another one. Acetone free nail polish remover is not plastics friend. It looks pretty cool without body work anyway. I will start another one after the Mack muster is over. So I'm going to work on my trucks as I know what I'm doing with them. I will make a return though. Cheers for following.

Jamiroquoi has a green LaFerrari. I didn't like it. Mind you, if he gave it to me, u wouldn't say no.
I'm going with pure red with black roof, mirrors and rims.

Just a small update. It's down to the body panels now. Stiil stripping them for repainting. Not sure if I'm going to go to paint it yellow or red. Any suggestions?

Who do you think you are? You seem to just flame people. Not sure what you're getting out of this. You and "thatswhatshesaid" seem to be the only ones allowed to have an opinion? How do you think some model projects have started? People walking up and asking questions of the companies. That's how. Nigel Lowe (auslowe) talks to Mack Trucks Australia and Kenworth Australia. Then he produces licenced models of their stuff for the model truck loving people out there.
