Fujimi Enthusiast Series Lamborghini Countach
JollySipper replied to Dragline's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Ditto from me............. -
Which Countach is the better kit?
JollySipper replied to JollySipper's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
So is there a good "compromise" kit that maybe doesn't have all the opening features of the EM kits, but still has a full engine? Also I have a built Revellogram Countach that I'm not satisfied with, I could take the engine from it and put in a better kit........ What would be a good kit to use the Monogram engine in? You guys are most helpful, Thanks! -
Which Countach is the better kit?
JollySipper replied to JollySipper's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Thanks, Guys.... I saw the Fujimi kits, but were unsure if they were the Enthusiast series because they aren't really priced like a full kit. I've seen curbside kits that cost more.... -
I would love to build a full detail Countach..... Hobbylinc has a dozen Lambos to choose from. Which of these are full detail? Which ones have you guys built? Would appreciate any info on these, Thanks! http://www.hobbylinc.com/cgi-bin/s8.cgi?str_s=countach&submit=GO&cat_s=SCB&mfg_s=

Favorite Obscure or Discovered Music Album
JollySipper replied to afx's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
I've been listening to this a lot lately, especially Bullet, Psychobilly Freakout, and D for Dangerous...... It's also out by the same record label that released Nirvana's first album........... -
I wonder how much work it would be to make the Jeep into something like a mild kustom, lowered on ol' school Astros and candy paint? Or maybe keep the 4x4 setup and make an awd pro-touring pickup?
-
Thanks for all the nice replies! I put a lot of effort into this one...... Some things I forgot to mention, the paint is all duplicolor, black primer, Toreador Red, and their Perfect Match clear.......... The Keystones are the large rear wheels from the '68 Charger kit......

Thank you, guys! WOW! If I hadn't omitted the stone guards and vent windows, it would look exactly the same!
-
Finally finished this up today! I call it "The Scarlet Harlot"..... Pretty much everything but the body parts is from the custom coupe. There's a WIP in the proper section for those interested. Thanks for looking, and all comments are welcome........

I managed to get a couple coats of paint on the body, then it got wet sanded with soapy 2000 grit........ It will get probably two more coats. Just wanted to get a mockup of how this is gonna look. To be honest, I kinda like the "suede" look of this without clear. Thanks for looking......... -
I really like this kit, and REALLY like this build...............

JollySipper replied to JollySipper's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Thanks for following this one, Fellas....... It's now under glass -
I took all the guts from the '71 Charger and bashed it with a '73/4 MPC Charger to come up with this. Added the vinyl top and rocker trim.... Hope you Guys like it, any and all comments are welcome!!
